The terror on Dr. Nichols's face while at the podium as he realizes Dr. Kimble (Ford) is gonna expose him is pure joy when watching this film. The justice is palpable lol

The Fugitive is also one of the best Chicago movies ever made. Too many films supposedly* set in Chicago (*some films use other cities as a stand-in - gaaaahhh) fail to capture the Chicago vibe. This film nails it, from the scene at the real Chicago St. Patrick's Day parade to "Chicago Memorial Hospital" (aka Cook County Hospital) to the Polish landlady and her son (Chicago has the largest Polish population outside of Warsaw). As a lifelong resident of Chicagoland, this film is always a treat to watch.

This is one of my most favourite Action Thrillers, and one of my most favourite films of all time. I liked Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones in the movie so much! I think the director Andrew Davis did an amazing job at this movie, and James Newton Howard composed an awesome soundtrack for the movie! I recommend this movie for people that likes watching classics from the 90s!! If I'd rate this film on an A+ to F scale, I'll rate this an "A+".

The look of "Oh shit!" On Nichol's face was priceless! As soon as Kimble says "You almost got away with it didn't you?" Had Nichols like "I'm fucked if I don't get rid of Kimble!!"

He was screwed either way. Even if he succeeded in dispatching Richard there would’ve been an investigation. The drug would’ve been pulled and Dr Nichols would be sitting a very long time anyway. He was going down no matter what

@Onecooltop75 not if he would have gotten rid of Richard and disposed of all of the evidence proving his guilt. He would have found a way to get away with it.
@drygnfyre5 ай бұрын
@@Onecooltop75 In all likelihood, the drug's side effects would have come out and the company would have been fined, and then that's it. The fines are never as much as the profit gained from pushing bad drugs (which is one of the reasons why bad drugs get pushed).

What a beautifully done scene, the way he crashed the speech and bullied his colleague, the murmuring of the crowd, the host of the event futilely trying to calm people down. It looked and felt like a real life thing.
@adamdesanti67134 ай бұрын
I daresay one of the greatest dramatic thrillers ever. Well-written, well-acted, well-directed, well-musically scored, with gripping subject matter and shot on many locations in Chicago. _The Fugitive_ has tons of replay value. It actually got a Best Picture nomination for the films of 1993. And Tommy Lee Jones won Best Supporting Actor (although Ralph Fiennes in Schindler's List had the _much_ more ranged and nuanced performance).

Love Jeroen Krabbe’s performance in this. He plays such a sad, pathetic and almost pitiful figure. He can’t face his former friend like a man, goes for the cheap chair shot to the back, a flimsy gut punch and a few desperate shoves because he’s shit out of options and knows he’s seconds away from an ass whopping…..
