Sith Inquisitors are deadly Sith Assassins and Sorcerers. In the era of The Old Republic, a low-ranking Sith acolyte rises through the Imperial hierarchy and takes their rightful place in destiny. This is their story. The majority of the footage used in this video is of my male human character. However, this person's story makes more sense when playing the game as an alien such as Twi'lek or Zabrak.

I like the contrast between the warrior and the inquisitor. The warrior is the general who leads armies into battle, while the inquisitor is the mastermind that manipulates and plots behind the scenes. They’re also different in forms of power. The warrior masters his power of the darkside through strength, while the inquisitor masters his power through knowledge

Sith Inquisitor is my fav SWTOR story, especially as Darth Imperius. I like Imperius because 1) He/She is the ideological opposite of Valkorian, both have the signature ability of consuming death ( it also makes the most sense for SI to have the ability to resist Valkorian, as the third arc revolves around bolstering mental defences to deal with the 4 ghosts in ur head ) 2) The Darth title is given by Marr, since Empire means everything to him the title of Imperius would not be handed out lightly ( it feels good to know that he has that level of faith in us ) 3) The trio of pragmatic Sith Lords i.e. Lana Beniko, Imperius and Marr represent a balancing force to chaotic sith like Darth Malgus and Darth Jadus (one is a chaotic reformer and the other a chaotic loyalist) and other self-serving Sith 4) The classic story from rags to riches, while not letting the newly gained power go to ur head is just a cherry on top

so god danm true. got darth imperious on my first every playthrough and I never even realised there were other titles. my absolute favourite moment in the inquisitor storyline was when you get help from the doctor on Balmora in exchange for offering to send him home. I just remember his absolutely baffled reaction to meeting a sith that actually kept his word 😂Made me realize how much of an outlier a pragmatic and reasonable sith would be in the empire.

@@thalmoragent9344 It was a left over from the Light vs Dark event that happened in 2016. A toggle that allowed you to choose which side you supported (Light or Dark) and you would get points in that alignment.

My first ever playthrough of the Old Republic was the Sith inquisitor and I ended up with the Darth Imperious ending. I promised myself at the start of the playthrough that I wouldn’t make decisions off of what I think a normal Sith character would pick, but what decisions “I” would make if I was in his position. So it was nice being able to see the galaxy react to dangerous and powerful Sith Lord who just wants the best for his people and for the empire to expand and grow in a meaningful way. It’s actually kind of turned into a nice natural character arc on its own, as after the defeat of valkorian I rejoined in the empire in the hopes of it being different with Acina in control, only to realize over time that it’s no different from how it was before, it’s just the same old system with the false pretence of change as a mask. But my character is in to deep, he’s made his choice and now I’ve had to make more and more dark side decisions to stay afloat in the new empire, to my own dismay. God I love this game.

I always felt that cannonically the sith inquisitor was always a neutral character vs the sith warrior who just screams dark side. Also the fact that the sith inquistor gains a different darth title based on his allignment.

I always found playing a LS Inquisitor more interesting personally, I don't remember exactly at which point there's a dialogue saying that they'll be able to change the Empire for the better in this way Most of the dark side choices are just dumb imo, except maybe when you have ton confront and kill other crazy siths

@@baseupp12 I said it. Therefore it’s canon to me. That’s how head-canon works. SWTOR is a game that’s best experienced when you create your own head-canon for your toons. To me, Darth Imperius is the canon Sith Inquisitor.

The SI is definitely my favorite class in the game (see my name). Apologies for the following rambling Something I just want to mention is that people often equate the titles of Imperius with being a very rational/pragmatic Sith and Nox being the absolute maniac, this isn't that surprising given the requirements for those titles, but having played the class story several times I've found that as Darth Nox you can be a ruthless Sith to your enemies, but also a pragmatist, seeking reform and putting the Empire first, much like Marr. That is the beauty of this game, there can be a lot of nuance in a character. Also with what you stated on the Sith Inquisitor being second only to the Emperor at that point, I both agree and disagree. I think that as the SI is granted the title of Dark Lord of the Sith, his power is not on that level just yet, but I would put him close to the Wrath and Darth Marr, so definitely one of the strongest Sith in the Empire. But the SI very much has the potential to reach that level of power, and in my eyes is the perfect enemy for Valkorion. Valkorion may have never sent the Wrath after the SI, but I do think he saw the SI as a potential threat, because he saw himself in them. Both came from nothing, but were descendant of Sith Lords, both climbed their ways up the ranks to the heights of the Sith Empire and both have the power to consume Death in one form or another. On Ziost as the SI delivers their speech to lure out Vitiate, and they state that they are "*The one they cannot match wills with*, the one they can't hope to strike down" and while I think the SI's gall to put themselves on the same level as Vitiate helped piss him off, I also think it is Vitiate recognizing that one day those words could prove true. And in KOTFE Chapter 2, if the SI states they always wanted to add Valkorion's soul to their collection, Valkorion will state he was thinking the same about the SI, a clear respect between these Masters of Death. I think where the two differ is that Valkorion seeks to become Master of the Force, and as per Marr's words, the SI is the Commander of its Will and naturally opposes Valkorion because of it. TLDR: Sith Inquisitor complex and strong

I love this story more then the warrior for one reason, and it’s the same reason why I also find the knight and sage storylines lesser as well. The sith inqusitor is the only one who doesn’t start off super strong. Sure they have a strong connection to the force, but most of their accomplishments come from deception, or from taking the power of long dead ghosts to increase there own. The Sith inquisitor storyline allows you to be like Darth Sidious, manipulating others and events through deception scheming.

I always played as a dark side inquisitor that also would not do foolish decisions as to increase their power base and gain allies as that would ultimately increase their power. Also focused on increasing the power of the empire. So essentially was quite evil but a logical evil instead of chaotic as to properly strengthen the empire instead of weakening it.

Talos Drellik spelt it aloud. The tombs of Korriban were strange. The tomb of Naga Sadow was built by Tulak Hord before Naga Sadow was even born. Aloysius Kallig was interred in the dark temple on Dromund Kaas before this world was discovered, he was a contemporary of Tulak Hord whom he regarded "as a friend" as he himself told it to the player. Tulak Hord himself is an interesting character, he was "Jem Ar" the dark lord of the sith. This was way before Darth Vitiate became the emperor, and yet Kallig was buried there. Mighty strange. The rest of the ghostly crew were also older then the emperor or his rule. And yet the emperor was imprisoned on Voss in a tomb. Wether Sel-ma-kor was a spirit that predated the divide of Jedi and dark Jedi is not revealed. There is lots of lore to be found in SWTOR if you dare to delve into it.

I had footage from all over the place so I just used what I needed :) I only had levels 1-13 using a Twi'lek. Balmorra to Nar Shaddaa I'm using a body type 3 male human which changed to a body type 2 male human for the Nar Shaddaa ending. The majority of the video has the Kallig mask and I feel that works best anyways!

i have been trying to figure out what to do after chapter 3, after you kill thanaton, im kinda a new player, and idk what to do, i went to illum but im only level 48, so i went to a few other planets in that zone, the loading screen says i need to do something in the imperial fleet but idk what, am i done with the story after i kill thanaton? or is there more (im playing just for story and idk what to do next) was wondering if i could get some help on this. tried looking on reddit, found nothing.

After you kill Thanaton you should go speak to your companions either on your ship, or on Dromund Kaas (You might have already done that). Anyways, the next part of the story is Ilum, however you pickup the mission for Ilum from the Imperial Fleet, just look around and talk to anyone with a purple icon on their head, you'll find it. Once your done with all of Ilum, you'll begin "Rise of The Hutt Cartel".

​@@theatrius5049while I do agree the the Wrath has an advantage in a test of martial skills, I believe that the Inquisitor is more evenly matched than you think, Especially when in the Assassin's tank spec. The defensive buffs could allow the Inquisitor to out last the Wrath, albeit the outcome would also depend on other factors as well.

Spindrall is a unique name for it is composite of Spin and the same word in german Drall and it means actually the angular momentum of elementary particles. This is a concept of quantum mechanics. I take that as a private joke of the developers.

@@SWCentral currently busy. It's during the 2nd n 3rd tasks as acolyte so, quite early on. I just think to remember it so from a while back,perhaps i'm wrong. I just had a strong feeling to remember that bodygard creature to have had a strong loyalty to hord, not sado. If i was right, i can tell u that u have the same mix up in the sitg warrior video too. Also sado is not cool enough to have deserved a hybernated monster as tomb sentinel ;) That's even really so storywise. Given how sado cheated his way to power only to ruin all that ragnos has build including the destruction of the alternative that was for keep gaining strength instead futilly invading a state, the sith then knew barely anything about. Imo, compaired to his lil' importance (exept that he had after his exile to yavin4) i think sado could really b the sith who fucked up worse than any other. Not fully gaining the throne, starting a war that's a certain desaster, killing who could've salvaged the situation, giving away their existence n not only causing the war to come backfirering but also the genocide of much of their species n loss of all the gathered knowledge n artefacts, they had. So as an order the sith were also thrown back almost as far as they've come since the dark jedi arrived. Not to forget their origin homeworld being bombed from barely to fully inhospitable, taken n plundered by the jedi. Not to forget that he was vital for the situation tha brought vitiade who was just as much a menace to the sith empire than to the others. By that he cost them even 3more planets (Nathema,malacor5,ziost) n the loss of their realm's power at t's peak 4 the 2nd time. I don't think kresh could have kept vitiade,but his rise to power n the ability as noob lord to get enough sithlords to come for his ritual n 1st power up, hardly would've been successful without sado's mess. Wow - i guess i've forgotten myself a bit,lol. However Fuck sado, hord would have deserted n become a devoted jedi healer would he have still lived n gotten forced to b asociated with such an epic shame. Personally i'm sure that sado couldn't even have had a tomb exept an empty one on corriban. Who even knew him to b on yavin4 exept exar kun, who certainly didn't bring his corpse home if he even knew about the empire's location. Imagine that he would - why would they bury the one responsable for the loss, destruction n ethnic cleansing/genocidal purge of that very same world, in the most honorable way? Realisticly it would b likely that they purged him from their history like the eghyptains tried to do with echnathon, as soon he was dead.

​@@phorz85 I believe you might be referring to the fact I stated Khem Val is within Naga Sadows tomb, and not Tulaks. This is correct, in fact this is a blatant continuity error. As Tulak came before sadow, meaning Sadows tomb couldn't be hidden via a secret passage via Tulaks texts. So the video is *accurate* but the lore from the game it's self is an contradiction.

@@SWCentral well, when the massassi were described first, kevin j anderson said them to b green n it was repeatedly said they were yavin's natives, not sith war - mutants that sado imported. Yet he was also authoring the comics that intoduces that version. Sado's exile was totally a later edition. The comics are basicly the prequel to the story that tieonne learned from kun's master's holocron n from the ballade of nomi sunrider. I was also happier with the way the masassi were made over the initial idea. Still kinda baffling that the creator himself was ok to do such drastic retcons. Perhaps, because they were done still relatively quick n not in a story written a decade later, so the lore wasn't widely familliar when it happened, so it could slide past most readers attention too. With parts also reading comics or novels, there were certainly many who remained unaware for a while.

Sith Inquisitor is my favourite class and story. The only thing I think they got wrong with it is making Ashara Zavros rigidly light side. You should be able to turn her to the dark side like Jaesa. The SI is an insidious schemer. It actually makes more sense for them to twist their Jedi companion to the dark side than it does for the brute force, muscle head Warrior. Especially as Ashara is already half way a Sith with her pride, ambition, and tendency to be emotional.
