I feel like if Yuri gets into TF141, he'll be judged heavily by characters like Price and Ghost who lost a member of their task force. The last thing they'd want to do is trust the enemy of their enemy. We all know they're going to bring back the plot twist of how Yuri fought alongside Makarov until they fell out and was too late to stop the Verdansk bombings.

Hopefully Yuri can still be recruited for 141. It was nice to see him again but a bit underwhelming on his involvement. Might have been good if he warned Laswell about Makarov’s bomb in London.

5:27 Pretty sure Yuri tipped off Russian FSB beforehand and not 141. Plus 1995 Yuri couldn't have been working for the USSR because the USSR ceased to exist 4 years earlier 9:47 considering both laswell and kamarov oversaw forces crumble under armistice, that's probably why

Mw2 was such a great game! Having said that i find it hilarious when that game, other games and movies show a bright red blinking light and a loud beep to signal a bomb is about to detonate. Bombs usually don't warn you, they just blow you the hell up

MW3 was the first campaign I played in Christmas of 11 when my parents got it for my older brother and I absolutely loved Yuri and hated the fact he died at the end and looking back now I still hate it bc I feel like there so much potential with a character like him

It should also be noted the possibility that during the Vondel operations in Season 4, a photo of Milena was mentioned to have "Volkov" on the title. Could it be possible that Yuri provided Laswell the profile during Season 4?

Wasn’t Anton Volkoff affiliated with Perseus? If so, that could potentially explain why Yuri knows about Perseus. Yuri could be a descendant of Anton who was told of his family’s history with Perseus in the hopes that he’d take up the family tradition and join Perseus, but Yuri rebelled instead.

The reason Kate couldn't just meet with the Russians is that most likely after the Verdansk conflict, tensions became very high. Remember in Season 3's trailer that the Armistice fell apart

Yuri in this remake would have been so much more interesting if he was the second-command of Makarov instead of some new name mook that doesn't even last a few missions before he's captured and forgotten by the plot. It would have done wonders to see what Yuri was like before he realized Makarov was willing to do whatever it took to win and see him start to slowly realize that what he was doing was wrong. But no, instead we get like a 5 minute cameo appearance that doesn't really accomplish anything.
