After 2 legs against Denmark the score was 5-5, so another match was played at a neutral location, which Denmark won 1-0.

The best of Scotland was actually in 1992. They reach the finals of only 8 teams. It's the equivalent of a quarter-final. Thus meaning that they were one of the best 8 national teams of the 1992 campaign. Similar to Scotland was the Republic of Ireland in 1988. Again, a tournament with the best 8 teams in Europe, again equivalent of a modern quarter-finals. And to be fair: a win against England, a draw against what would be the vice-champion (Soviet Union) and a narrow defeat against the Netherlands that would eventually win the trophy is much better than being third in a group where the two top spots wouldn't progress further than the quarter finals. Nevertheless, that was good work from you! I never realised that once Czechoslovakia split, Czech Republic never missed a Euro finals as for me they are both interchangeable.

In a lot of cases, you're comparing apples and oranges. For example, at 19:40 you say the furthest Ireland got was the last16 in 2016 because they got past the group stage? However, they clearly did better in 1988 when they came 3rd place in a 4 team group at an 8team tournament, meaning they were arguably the 5th or 6th best team in Europe for that tournament. Either way, to say they did better in 2016 than 1988 is ridiculous.

Yep, all true. There were similar cases in my World Cup video. For example, Indonesia qualified for the 1938 World Cup without playing a single game, and were spanked 6-0 in the first round, but later they've had some decent qualifying campaigns where they've actually won a few games; arguably a far better effort. But if I want to colour the map in and clearly state the furthest round each country has reached, I have to be strict.
