They could save on the autonomous BS and just give me a remote control. It would be much cheaper and I would have a great time playing with this while cleaning the snow
@EverydayReviews202212 күн бұрын
@@querty292 I’m sure it’ll come. Even like car companies, it’s usually the flagship model that comes first to showcase the technology and then lower trims emerge later. It’s not an overnight thing but this company is moving pretty fast in terms of evolving the product. It does have a remote btw but I get what you mean, Forger about the satellite rtk and just control manually. I have both a remote control and autonomous lawnmower and while the remote one is fun and good for mowing hard to get at areas and hills, the autonomous one is so accurate and makes great patterns. Looking forward to trying the Yarbo mower which can be used a lot more than snow blowing here

@EverydayReviews20227 ай бұрын
To be fair, this is a robot and designed to head out regularly before the snow gets that deep. By no means is it meant to compete with a 75hp tractor. It can start by itself by gathering weather info and is modular as well and can even tow 3500 lbs
@austinskillings45502 ай бұрын
You'd be surprised how well 2 tracks can go in the snow vs normal tires. Tires get stuck because barely any surface area on the ground. You put on tracks and you seriously will never get stuck with 4 wheeler, etc. I don't see something with tracks getting stuck in snow easily at all.

for those who deal with heavy wet snow here in PNW this is just an expensive useless toy. It will get stuck before making 4ft. this might work for small areas someplace where the snow is dry and light,

I’m here in the PNW. Didn’t have any issue. I actually have the plow blade now which is for wetter snow but I haven’t tried it yet.

Still cause way too much for what it is. for that kind of money it should be the size of a garden tractor. Actually a good idea if someone made a universal kit that you can put on your hydrostatic garden tractor that you could train and control with an app similar to how this works. you would sell a lot of them m. many people already have the equipment they don't have the automation. Make a control unit that you can mount on the top front of the hood with antennas and cameras looking forward, to the sides. make drive unit that attaches to the steering wheel shaft and make a unit that mounts onto the drive pedals. Servo controls on the throttle as well, maybe a camera pointing backwards if need be. power it all off to 12 volt battery already in the tractor. If you have a gauge package on the tractor maybe a camera facing that so you can see what your fuel level temperatures dummy lights Etc. 🤷 There's the idea. Somebody get ahold of me when you got a unit ready to try out. I have a John Deere x739 I would love to have something like this on. If you could program the pattern for blowing snow in the driveway and then program a pattern for mowing the grass in your yard using the same system where you just do it the way you would like to do it and it just repeats your pattern it would be very user-friendly. That's my million dollar gift to society. 😆

neat, but 5 grand to save yourself an hours work? now, how long is it going to be until someone drives up in a truck and takes it? you know it'll happen. if you could fully automate it, meaning it gets in and out of the garage by itself, starts by itself. and it was safe from theft, lojack it or something. and lower the price. maybe then it would be worth it. but as it is? not worth it by any means.

@EverydayReviews20226 күн бұрын
It’s not about being lazy. Way more than 15 min btw with over 160 ft of sidewalk but either way it’s just an example. Not all people are able bodied or have the time to spend an hour+ to shovel their property which could be often depending on the weather and location. It can also be about saving your time for other things like working or more time for pleasure. With that said, tech isn’t for everybody. Some people welcome manual labour and there’s nothing wrong with that.
