Dragons' Den

Dragons' Den

4 жыл бұрын

A courageous pitch by sisters, Sky and Kia Ballantyne as they present their innovative gadget Crikey Bikey, a harness to help parents teach kids to ride a bike safely without physical contact to the bike seat.
An international sensation, Dragon's Den features entrepreneurs pitching for investment in the Den from our Dragons, five venture capitalists willing to invest their own money in exchange for equity.

@Pol Fartin thats an overly simplistic way to look at it. The dragons will invest if they can make money from the buisness in a reasonable ammount if time. However a buisness could still be successful and the owners could enjoy a lovely life from it (taking money as a salary), but an investor would get enough return fast as that is taking from the profit of the buisness.

@Pol Fartin running a little buisness is brilliant, of course some will have bigger ambitions, but nevertheless its still brilliant, especially for their age working with their parents

£19.99 is quite expensive for that product. I would not pay that but it's a good product. You can stand more freely and upright so you don't get a bad back and stand more comfortably

It's great to see kids inventing and trying to take it further in this world, even if this takes off a little bit it could pay for there university education which will still lead to a better future. I know there would be no way i could bend over if my niece needed a bit of support because of my spine so this would be great. I also think they might be missing a market by maybe not looking into kids with special needs were these harnesses could be adapted for different needs like when a child with needs go horse riding. I hope they get a big order and do great.

I learned to ride a bike with stabilisers on my own when I was a kid. I think an adult running alongside me, ready to yank me off my bike at the first sign of danger, would have slowed down my learning curve a lot. Fair play to them for trying. They seem smart so I'm sure they will progress to more and more useful ideas.
