Why is he saying that, birds evolved from dinosaurs? They evolved with dinosaurs for 150 million years ago

Well technically speaking only 85 million years. And David Hone is correct in saying that they evolved from Dinosaurs, having their last common ancestor with Scansoriopterygids approximately 150 Ma. From that point birds, which are as he correctly said taxonomically considered to be Dinosaurs, evolved alongside their non-avian counterparts up until the KPg boundary.
