I think it will be Shades B.A. B.S. M.A. L.C.S.W. Isn't that how it goes? Thanks, Stu.

Thanks, Slayer. You too have good taste in music and wear shades here and there. I just thought it was funny. I had to shout you out. Your channel blew the hell up too.

Shades, I think you’d make a Wonderful Counselor for Substance Abuse. It’s a difficult field.
@ShadesOClarity2 ай бұрын
Thank you, Cindy. I'd like to think that I would. I like journalism but it seems to be a dying field and it doesn't pay well at all. Nobody believes news outlets anymore and they are too partisan. We'll see. Thanks for watching.

@@ShadesOClarity Nobody hardly believes anything anymore. Just keep being an honest voice and people will know that you are a straight up source!! They’ll trust you.

Alcohol will always be there. It's like people that suffer with weight issues. Food will always be there. We have to learn to live with that. Luckily it gets easier the more you build that "No" muscle. You'd make an amazing counselor! Love the lava lamp in the background lmao, had one of those when i was a teenager. Great video! I was a chronic relapser too, man, its's its own kind of hell. Thanks for the shoutout!

Thank you ATM. Get it? That's your official fighter pilot callsign. I threw in the Antabuse thing for you. Thanks for watching, subbing and everything else.

@@ShadesOClarity hahaha thanks! That’s what I’ve been trying to get people to call me 🧑✈️. Yeah I wondered if that was for me haha, thanks for doing that, I was just looking up where to get Antabuse on google when I saw you replied. Good stuff

Great video and thanks for the shout out! I've been down and out with Dengue... again... love the topic of this video. I've been contemplating next steps and the future myself lately. I love your idea of substance abuse counseling. Very noble to say the least. Good luck with it all but just remember to always keep it in the day too. But for the grace of god...

I wonder where you had been, Ron. It hasn't been that long since your last bout. I would assume since it's a virus you would have had some immunity for awhile. I guess not. I wonder why . Thanks for watching and replying. I look forward to seeing you back in action soon.
@Disappointingyourdemons2 ай бұрын
@ShadesOClarity so there are 4 different strains of it. Also, supposedly you're only immune to whichever strain you got for a couple months or something . I dunno. But, yeah, back in action. New content coming soon (tm).

@@Disappointingyourdemons I see. That makes sense. BTW, it looks like I never hit your bell. That may have been why I wasn't getting notifications. I thought I did, though. Anyway, maybe I told you this already.

Sounds like a great plan and yes don't be afraid to jump the gun with the "counseling degree". I know taking out debt seems irresponsible often in today's climate but the particular niche you are focused on is key and I don't see drug and alcohol addictions dropping any time soon, especially pharma addictions. Also, as people told me ten years ago like my dad look at industries where money is being plowed into and no question the U.S. government pumps mega funds into this industry along with private interests. If that is too much perhaps just do what you are doing now with your channel and continue working retail, if I may ask why are you not able to drive right now??

I won't have to go into debt to do it. I have a bunch of money saved up and other investments. I have never been married and have no kids so my money just gets stuffed into the bank. For several DWIs in '99 and '04 I had to get a blow and go. It's a long story, but I had it removed for two violations in 2018. I am working to get it back.
