I couldn't tell you the first video of yours I watched, but I was hooked. Spring of 2020, just after the lockdown. Shortly after I decided I wanted to be a better musician, songwriter, and more proficient on guitar and bass. Thank you, and congratulations on 100K. 🙏🏻🤍

Otis, all I can tell you is when I watch your interviews, I’m usually entertained, laugh a little (sometimes a lot) and when I watch one of your “running my mouth” segments, my blood pressure usually drops a few points. It’s kind of like getting a talk from a calm and wise grandpa, even though I’m older than you. Must be the beard. 🤣

Man Otis, I can’t remember the first video of yours I saw. I believe it was raining, of course you had your coffee, and you were talking about how you met your partner Amy. Something about Bob Dylan I think. I really dig your music, your channel and your insights on life. You are quite calming to listen to you. You remind me of a friend of mine that i play guitar with. Nothing seems to bother him. I find myself trying to be more like him as i get older. Also, Thank you for Steve Polz. That guy made me laugh when I really needed it. I am now a hardcore Rugburns fan. Enjoy the UK and keep up the good work. Much Love to you Otis.

Your positivity is so refreshing and rare in today's world, I can't remember when I first discovered you maybe early in the pandemic? but I don't think Ive missed a show since the first one I saw. Another channel I discovered about the same time was Musician Hall of fame had a similar content but sadly they lost their founder Joe Chambers, since his passing his family has done wonderful job with the museum but dosent have either the time or experience with other musicians to continue the interviews Joe did, I have long thought it would be a perfect fit for you if there's a way you can make a little income there. Ive even suggested it to them in a comment, you are a national treasure in keeping the stories of musicians alive once these folks pass on the history passes as well. I selfishly hope you can find something to make a balance that will keep you personally sustained yet free to spread your positive messages and preserve the history of music

I think you deserve a million viewers!!! My Sat. mornings (years ago) were devoted to another "otis" - the "Johny Otis Show" on KPFA in Berkeley. The J.O. show was primarily classic R&B, jazz, soul, rock n roll, and that station was one of my major introductions to folk music.
