While I AM sad that this series must end and...shall we say, lesser shows like Titans must continue to "thrive." Considering that Future was meant to be an epilogue series, I understand it was meant to happen (eventually.) All that matters is if the series ends on a good note. I'm talking no cliffhanger endings, no cheap cop outs and no "it was all a dream" scenarios. If this show ends in a good way like OK KO or Gravity Falls did, I'll be satisfied. That being said, a certain speculation fans have come up with leaves me feeling a little...uneasy. I'm of course, referring to the "theory" that Connie will forever break up with Steven in one of the new episodes and never get back together with him. Now, I KNOW the dude's behavior has become...a bit unsavory lately and that he needs to understand that people may end up doing well without him. But to take away his greatest love from him forever, a girl who's been with Steven through Heck and Back, would be a worse middle finger than the "it was all a dream cliche." The first to bring this up was AwestruckVox, then Hailey from Cartoon Universe, then Toon Ruins and virtually EVERYONE now thinks Connie's going to cut Steven off for good. Is this really how we want Steven's journey to end, on an unhappy note?

that pink aura thing could be, like pink steven, something that happens when steven is going through serious emotions. near the the middle of the trailer, we see that SAME aura while he is running from....something, or running AT something. possibly jasper? if this is the case, the smoke in the next scene could be jasper poofing, if it is NOT the case, then the smoke could be from the tree he punched earlier in the trailer

That's kind of weird - I was having a shot at piecing some of the clips together and I just happened to use a lot of the exact same clips as you, but I interpreted something completely different. OK, so the Gems have long since decided enough is enough and decided to try to talk to Steven, leading to Audio Leak #1 and the hexagonal wall. Then when we see Steven screaming "Leave me alone" and giving off the pink aura, I think it looks exactly like the time-stop powers that Smoky accidentally used earlier in Future. It makes sense, too - the first time, it happened because Steven was under a lot of stress, and if that audio clip isn't a stressing situation, I don't know what is. Then when he's running through the woods, he's giving off the same pink aura. So I think he screams at the Gems, accidentally stops time again, and upon realising what he's done, charges off into the woods to blow off steam. And then - I'm not really sure what'll happen exactly, but I'm almost certain it'll have something to do with Jasper. (It's worth noticing that when he punches the tree, he doesn't have the aura anymore.) And either: 1. One of Finn's theories about Jasper will come true and then when Steven gets home he's hiding his hand because he broke it when he punched the tree OR (way more interesting) 2. During Jasper's very, erm, Jasper-y take on a therapy session, they accidentally FUSE and that, combined with everything else, leads Steven to begin to corrupt. Think of it like this - every traumatic experience is like pouring a bit more petrol into a tank already almost full of it. And it wouldn't really take a huge flame - just one lit match - to make the thing explode. Welp - that was a bit ominous. We'll just have to see how it goes.
