Note: Eyemusician almost never uses flash as a frame trap or a panic move. He instead uses it to block punish moves like spring kicks or, more commonly, to whiff punish jabs. He will switch to NSS in neutral, fuzzy duck, and flash on reaction when he ducks a jab. Crazy stuff and by far the strongest use of the move at a high level.

@@Migixkem He definitely does, especially against Mishimas whenever he knows they are about to crouch dash in his face. Seen him do it on a Kazuya and Jin recently in his YT uploads.

He uses flash alot on frame traps, but he also uses alot in nss stance for duck punish. For instance highes that are usually safe can be punished with nss flash on duck. He does this alot and also times when opponent flinches and tries to pressure him. Basically presses flash on reaction when opponent dashes into him. I tried practicing this and it can be very strong. However flash in general is type of thing that you learn with time and lots of practice by basically predicting when your opponent will strike and what they will try to do. love this move tbh. Its so much fun to crush spammy characters spamshit strings.

For the uninitiated, Flash is officially named "Soul Stealer" because back in Tekken 4, you can copy your opponent's last move if you time the Flash as same time as their input(you'll know the steal is a success if Yoshi's sword turns red).

@@gilgameszh that’s a good idea, I’m not sure. There’s a lot of names that have there name between 3 languages.. Paul’s death fist was never called that in English but is called something Ken in Japanese to mean destruction fist

I think Yoshimitsu is literally super calm people that almost feel no pressure Eyemusician is known for choking tho he in massive pressure he just plays too clean and thats not yoshimitsu at all. For anyone who didn't understand me my favorite streamer in Tekken is eyemusician I'm saying that most of the time that he losses is when he plays safe I just used the word choking since he didn't do his godlike normal playstyleh

Em is not known for choking. Evaluating a movie and a tournament tekkenplayer are 2 diff things. Op is making claims he knows more abt the true playstyle for yoshimitsu sin e he just got out if greenranks. Compared to EM who has devoted himself his whole life to yoshi and he makes sport of even the greatest players

I think the fastest version of the move is 8 frames... But i'll check

it has multiple active frames, but the first frame in 1SS is i6. You normally get the first frame to connect during string interrupts because the opponent extends their limbs into it.
