Fun fact: Irritator was named because Paleontologists found the skull of the new Spinosaur species (which includes Spinosaurus, Irritator, Ichyovenator, Baryonyx, and Suchomimus) at a fossil sale....but the scientists who bought it found out the seller had added different dinosaur parts to it and it took them hours to restore it what it actually should look like-which really irritated them

Iguanadon was the first- named because they thought it looked like an iguana, and put the spike on it's nose. Later, they found a full skeleton and were like "Wait, what?" I've heard the Irritator was named that because the guy digging it out or studying it or something was just super annoyed with the ordeal. XD

Dan would absolutely LOVE the videos of the person who recreates what dinosaurs actually sounded like. It's beyond fascinating and I think he'd get a real kick out of it. Ik I do!

Fun fact, Irritator got its name because some Paleontologists got some fossils from a guy who got them illegally, so he had no clue where they came from, and these Paleontologists spent so much time trying to figure out what it was and what kind of genus to put it in, that when they found out it was a new dinosaur, they called it the Irritator, because they were just kinda pissed at how hard it was figuring out what it was. it belongs to the Spinosaurid family, and if I remember correctly Paleontologists have only ever found like one fossil of it, because we don't really know where they would be, so they're pretty neat, also Paleontologists have also found out that they had weird mouths that kinda would have worked like a pelicans when the open there mouth, so their bottom jaw just gets wide for food.
