If you don't paint that air duct in the office (at least up to the color change) to look like a tube from Mario Bros, you're missing a huge opportunity. :)

Bit of an timely costly effort but the pay off would be dope

You really need to paint or wrap all your ducting green like the pipes in Mario and also paint all your white shelving the colour of mario bricks (bluish like in your main display) and just paint black lines down them so they look like the bricks and not just standard shelves you see everywhere

Wacky Races brings back memories! I would play it at my uncle's house with my cousins when I was younger. Not sure how it holds up but was definitely fun at the time.

Man I wish we could have found a place that shipped those signs for cheaper, but apparently the custom size throws everything off 😅 Its great to see they made it in one piece though! 😊
@C_Blurr8 ай бұрын
Love the signs, do you have a storefront where I could browse your offerings?
@JRPGLife8 ай бұрын
@C_Blurr oh we don't sell signs, he bought these from a vendor at GameOn and we just helped him ship them lol. We don't even remember what vendor it was 😅

Yeah make the duct green like Mario and vinyl the window on the back side before covering the window it would be like a recessed picture. Make it whatever you want. Your store is so nice .
@imackamoo28 ай бұрын
The vibe in that store has to be palpable with all the retro goodies at every inch. It's so insane to see how it's gotten even better after you originally purchased the property. The love and passion is seen.

Also good luck on your trip to connecticut. Went there once, it felt like the twilight zone.

Waxky Racers is based off of a cartoon show by the same name. It’s basically just Hanna-Barbara cartoon characters racing for 22 minutes. I remember it being pretty funny back in the day.

You could almost take that Gameboy cut out the screen and put a small screen behind it that plays different clips from gameboy games and put it on top of a display cabinet full of them to turn it into a kiosk I wish I was closer because I have a bunch of PlayStation 3 controllers, I would trade you.

Man I wish we had retro game stores like this in Houston. There's 1 chain that's like, okay at best; and all the others have such little inventory I don't see how they even pay their electric bill and stay in business. Your store on the other hand, looks like heaven! lol

Please, in the office, paint the black air duct green like Mario piping.
@mtbelley8 ай бұрын
If I could make a suggestion for putting labels on the cardboard boxes, stick your label on a piece of painters tape and then stick it to the game boxes. Keeps them clean.
@Warbler978 ай бұрын
I'm almost positive that Rick has mentioned that labels are stuck onto a cut-up post-it note before they go onto boxes. So same idea but even less likely to damage the box.

It would be cool (if you had the room) to get a tv the same size of the screen of the Gameboy display you bought. And then cut out the screen part of the display and put it over the TV having the tv play a Gameboy game so it looks like a real giant Gameboy.

I think having some of ur friends/family (& you from time to time because I know ur busy) sitting on a couch streaming some retro video games to a Retro Rick Twitch channel would be sick They could earn money from the donations so u could split that between however many people was in the stream that day/night (who actually participated in the stream) while you earn the money from subs Then maybe for a anniversary of the YT channel you could do a 24hr run of videos from the YT channel streamed on the Twitch channel with maybe some giveaways in the chat & once you've got enough streams done & it's a anniversary for the Twitch channel you could do the same thing just with the Twitch content for 24hrs
