Baker was just as bad as Watson, on the field, in his final year with the Browns. He kept playing hurt, knowing full well his play was contributing to the losses in the 21 season. He played in 14 games in 2021, had 17 TD and 13 INTs. This video shows his resurrection game vs a terrible Raiders team that went 6-11 that year, and Carr threw 2 interceptions in that game. Now he plays for a mediocre Bucs team, that barely won a playoff spot in one of the worst divisions in the NFL. I don’t like my team going after Watson either, even without the allegations, he was not worth the contract. But that’s what Brown’s ownership does best, self sabotage. Maybe Baker can eventually prove people wrong, but he ain’t done it yet.

He sucked

@@Hillbilly-mgjwv I blame Stefanski for that. He knew he was hurt but instead of being a competent head coach and benching him for his own good, he just let him play. this is the sad part about being drafted as a QB in the top 5, and those teams are there for a reason. teams that can't develop QBs need a lot more to go right when drafting a QB than teams that can develop a QB. i am 1000% sure, if Mahomes was drafted to the bears instead of Trubisky, Mahomes would either be out of the league, a backup somewhere else or found success with a different team. there is zero chance we would talk about Mahomes the same way as a bear

Same thing if Josh Allan had been drafted by Cleveland. Everyone agrees Allan is the best from that class but if he gets draft #1 by Cle or #3 by NYJ the odds are overwhelmingly in favor of him never developing and being in as bad a spot as Sam Darnold was going into this year. There are some team that just can't draft and develop a QB (Cle, NYJ, Chi) and although Caleb has shown some life to him in spurts there is zero guarantee he will have sustained success there.

The Browns did Baker a favor by setting him free from that pit of misery!! Although the back stabbing way they did it was uncalled for, he's in a much better situation now with the BUCS!! And we love our QB here in Tampa! LFG Baker's Bucs!

Baker seems like a good guy... you don't hear about him being a prima donna, nothing but a good teammate, capable QB who has flashes of greatness. Good for him!

He was a bit cocky in his first couple of years, but so are many men in their early 20s. He's very much grown up a lot in the last few years. But he certainly never had over 20 women suing him over sexual misconduct!

You can't evaluate ANYONE who plays for the Panthers, the Jets or the Browns.
