There isn't really any initial pain. You hear a loud pop and then your foot goes a bit numb. I ruptured my Achilles the year after and it is a bitch of an injury because of the constant patience you have to have for it to heal. Imagine a rubber band thats stretched too far and breaks. Now imagine melting the ends back together. It won't be as strong until it cools down and you slowly stretch it until it can withstand being fully stretched out again. One of the worst injuries in sports and all it takes is for the body to have had enough.

I've never been to any kind of major sporting event in my life... except for about a month before this game when kobe and the lakers were in ATL. They lost to atl but kobe had a game. Got hurt on the last shot too, if you remember. Life's weird. I got to see him in his late prime just before he was never the same. RIP Bean

After watching again the same thing that happened to kobe happened to kd. Kobe played to the rupture that eventually tore, which the training staff of the lakers should be ashamed of, and kd sat out but played later and tore it which GSW training staff should be ashamed of.

It’s kinda like Kobe passed the torch to the warriors cause after this season the warriors would start their dynasty
@leilacampoz2 жыл бұрын
More like the nba caused Kobe to pass the torch to either lebron or curry. After vetoing the Chris Paul for pau gasol trade the lakers had to resort to taking a injured Dwight Howard.

Kobe, God bless you! You're the greatest player of all time. A true Legend who did not allow pain to dictate to him what he could or could not do. Thank, God, again for you and your many gifts. You're a blessing to the NBA and to the Lakers.
