The GameSir T1D (Ryze/DJI Tello Controller)

I finally have a controller for the Ryze Tello Controller in the form of the GameSir T1D! This process should have been easy, or was it? Find out in the video to see what I had to do to get this controller working!

Thanks for this video. I think that much of the Tello experience wasn't worked out very well. It requires a smartphone to work, and after some fiddling, the controller can take over most operations. I evolved to the DJI Spark, but it now requires a license due to its weight! So, I've moved on to a Mini 3 with an RC controller.... big difference!

some people say to disable bluetooth because it makes it hard to connect the phone to the tello, not sure about that. Took me hours and hours of fiddling and i got no where. Thankfully your video solved it all. Cant wait to do some more flying tomorrow

for me i finally got it to recognize and connect after hours of frustration as well....it was LOCATION!!! turned off. i turned it on and it was good to go, so those still struggling make sure your location is enabled!...i was able to connect to my telo...NOW!!! if i could only connect to my android? as im not sure its compatible?

no it won't. just works with Tello drone.

All you gotta do is connect it via your phones Bluetooth menu. Then open the tello app and go to settings. Select the controller. It's easy ASF.

Also I should have said there is no Bluetooth no connecting plugs into the lightening connector or usb.

It technically has Bluetooth but only connects through the app
