the reason why they advertised its flexibility is because some users would want to bring it to school or coffee shops in a backpack or something. Having this bending feature makes you feel more secure when moving around with it. EDIT: u know sometimes when you sit down your back leaning against something can cause pressure on stuff inside a backpack. flimsy backpacks at least.

Just to add an opinion, the reason flexing tablets are helpful when playing osu! is because of the durability. Personally, Because MY Wacom CTH-480 has had problems because it somehow was bent. Bending the actual thing made it so that the sensors were pretty much f***ed up. For this tablet, it would not have that problem as it was designed to bend.

I use this tablet at full area, with game being full screen, and I drag my pen. The weight of the pen isn't a problem in my opinion; I have more of an issue with gripping too hard on my pen and having a numb thumb after about 2 hours, getting annoying after 3 hours. I like that this tablet has a bigger full area than wacom tablets (which I used previously), and this has helped me to improve my precision, as my aim hand is quite shaky due to a forearm fracture 2 and a half years ago.

I think the best tablet for new osu players is the XP-PEN g430, it's very small, the pen doesn't require a battery and the driver software measures the size in centimeters. I have been using it for around 2-3 months and it has served me well.

I will stay with my Wacom CTL 471 :3 And I think that this Wacom one is also a good choice for ppl who wanna start playing Osu! with a tablet since it's a high quality tablet for nearly ~40€/~45$ :) So I never tried out the Gaomon but I still think that you'll prefer the CTL 471 since it's a solid solid tablet (matters imo) and the pen does NOT need a battery which results in a smaller pen :3 Have a nice day guys :D

5:29 short answer: Yeah but I used my tablet for like 6 months and the pen didn't really function well and would teleport as I drag... One more thing is that my hands were so small the buttons would press sometimes when I moved my cursor and would make me miss and sometimes fail. When I pressed the button on accident the pen cursor would teleport to catch up with the map's speed.

I really do like this review, however I want to address your two issues with it. (Keep in mind I agree with them, but I want to clarify why there are not that bad) 1. The large pen - I have small a** Donald Trump hands, and I use a pen that seems to be the same weight and size as the one shown. Dispite this, I find no issue using it. 2. The inconsistent surface area - I have a driver that is exactly like the one shown for my tablet. Again, dispite this, I have never had an issue adjusting the size. I could just be really good at sizing up dimensions (*shrug) but I think after you adjust the size, it auto fixes to your screen. Overall I love how you play, I love your streams, and you are a very good looking circle clicker. Keep it going!

This is why I've been trying to get a Wacom. I have a Huion420 and it's uncomfortable. The Wacom has a short distance from the table. The pen is a lot lighter like you've said. I think the weight can be an issue because of more strength trying to hold the pen and aim can mess you up.

the weight of the pen is kinda an accepted evil in the tablet world. as wacom was the first to develop and patent basically the only way to make a tablet pen not need batteries, there is virtually no way for any other company to be a competitor at the same level, with most just being labeled alternatives to wacom, with many tablets at the same quality and cheaper, with the only thing stopping them from killing wacom as a monopoly being the requirement of batteries in the pen. That being said, if I knew about this/they made it a year ago when I got my first tablet, I would have picked this instead of the $40 Monoprice in a heartbeat, as it seems even now good tablets are getting even cheaper(that being said, it doesn't matter in my situation now that I have an intuos, but I'm glad people have more and better options now).

There are coords for the area in the .ini configuration generated by the drivers, but it is only helpful for comparing areas between these same tablets. Alternatively, you could create a formula to convert Wacom coords to Gaomon coords or something.

Quick Question: My friend lent me his old Hunion tablet and i noticed when I hovered if I accidentally touched the tablet and stopped hovering that it would cause a pause or like the cursor would freeze for a second, does that happen with this one? also I noticed there are little indents like dots on the tablet. would that affect a player who doesn't hover?

The Pen doesn't really matter in that sense, cause it's really what you learn. I learned using one of the huion tablets (same pen) and it was really hard for me to switch to wacom for me. The weight can actually be an advantage cause i feel like you feel more that you know where you are going with it. It's really all subjective

My tablet has the same pen. My hands are medium-ish sized and I have no trouble with the pen. I also use the pen for an avg of 3-5 hrs at a time (not just playing osu, but other games as well) and have no issue with the weight or size of the pen. But, it might be because I'm used to playing piano and typing on Cherry MX Black switches 24/7 (which most people are fatigued by after less than a couple of hours of usage). I am planning to see what I can do about a lighter AAA battery as this pen, though it doesn't fatigue me, is annoyingly hefty.

This heavy pen is better for dragging though because of its stability and you can adjust the sensitivity on osu settings too. I personally have a huion 420 ( BLAZE IT) the regular one though and I personally would use the sensitivity settings on osu than set it up with the driver. It is more reliable and you dont have to do all of this crap to get the perfect settings on your driver

now I regret buying my huion h420... btw if you want to save your specific tablet area just copy the tablet config file to a folder so that whenever you tweak the settings on your tablet you can always just replace the config again then restart
