Institutionalizing segregation at source is just the first, but an essential battle won! We've got a long way to go - fixing the tendering process, working on destinations for segregated waste, integrating waste-pickers and contract employees into the formal framework, updating the msw rules 2013 to suggest "segregation, collection, transportation..." as a municipal function instead of "collection, segregation, transportation..." etc.. Phew! We need all the help we can get!! :)
