There was a ride in PA called "Garfield's Nightmare" at the theme park Kennywood. It was a water ride where you went on a boat past comic strips and full sized statues and told a decently sized story. It was recently converted to another ride called "The Old Mill". Since you're literally the only person who'd appreciate these, here are my Garfield facts about myself: • I have read every single published Garfield comic from 1978 to 2011 where he switched to digital. • I grew up about 15 minutes from Fairmount, Indiana where Jim Davis grew up and passed a sign with Garfield on it every day. • I frequented a Children's Museum where there was a recreation of Garfield's house built inside, as well as several Garfield themed attractions like a green screen self insert video game thing and educational material. • I took several art classes done by Davis. I've always been interested in cartooning, animation, and comics, so he was big inspiration for me. • Odie is my favorite character. • Ironically I liked the Gnorm Gnat character more than Garfield because he was a bug and I was more of a fan of bugs. • I had a grandfather figure who was the carpenter who built Davis' house and would occasionally bring me sketches Jim did for me. (All lost now.) • Jim would frequent a bookstore I worked at during college and he'd sign random copies of Garfield collections and hide them on the shelf. • I was first in line to read his Mr Potato Head comic. It was shit.

I watched "Garfield and Friends" every Saturday as a kid in the '90s! Also, I loved the "9 Lives" TV special too. It was a little creepy but I loved it, especially the Diana segment ( even though it ended a little sad 😔) the different art styles all intermixed made it a wild ride.

This is both one of the greatest and most unsettling vids I’ve ever seen, up until I was about 10 years old I was obsessed with Garfield and extremely deep into his fandom and lore, somehow I knew a large amount of these things but a lot of the stuff you covered surprised, amazed and even shocked me! It’s 3am and my brain is slightly freaking out from both the nostalgia and the horrors of the garfield’s 9 lives things… because those were so terrifying and amazing to me as a kid lol. This was such an amazing video and I Thank you for that! I normally don’t comment on things but dude you blew me away honestly. I’d love to see more vids on Garfield and his lore :D

Me too, I love Garfield and I grew up looking at the tv series and the reboot of Garfield, mostly the reboot. I loved how much the comedy and satirical sarcastic nature of Garfield gave him a great character aspect and I adored that. But when the whole thing of the I’m sorry John, and the entire spooky scary thing came around (mostly the lovecraftian and Zalgo thing with Garfield came) I really disliked it because it took away what mainly created what Garfield is.
