A very nice exchange, thank you! What you were saying about DMT entities and this impression of upgrading made me think a lot of the master spirits of the Shipibo-Conibo Indians who are very familiar with ayahuasca. In their culture, the Chaikoni are entities that guide the tribe and when the need arises (for example, changes in living conditions that require new adaptation, new information, or new knowledge to survive, heal etc) they can manifest through visions. An illustration of these beings is rendered briefly in the film Blueberry (when the main character is in the visionary world), by director Jan Kounen, who spent a lot of time in the Amazon with the Shipibos and had multiple experiments with ayahuasca. In any case, these Chaikonis are really specific to the visionary universe, but it's not just them, and the spirits of the plants are always teachers who make "an upgrade" so to speak, of those who diet with them.

I had an experience years ago when I was in a yoga teacher training intensive and was heavily meditating and doing asanas daily (lots of headstands, I think that particular pose does something to your intuitive ability). I had stopped using cannabis for a few weeks bc I was going to get a new day job and had a WILD meditation experience where I went out of body. Long story short (and there is much more I’m leaving out) I believe that my quasi-kundalini meditation lit me up like a beacon astrally (or whatever words you want to use to describe it, it sounds so woo, but there you go) and attracted an entity that “saw” me (or my heightened energy field?) meditating. I went out of body when I felt a nudge on my leg that prompted me to roll over (but I actually “rolled out” Monroe-style) and sat up. I saw my bedroom in detail (but at a perspective like 1 foot too high floating above my bed) and as I scanned the room I froze like a terrified rabbit with blood rushing sounds in my ears when I saw a shadow person with too long arms in my bedroom doorway about 3 feet away from the far side of the bed (hubs wasn’t in bed yet, it was like 8pm). I blacked out after several long beats in time where it didn’t make any threatening moves and I got the sense that it knew me and was helping me see what was possible, but I was so effing jumpscared and my heart was pounding. I woke up to my husband shaking me awake hourssss later saying I was whimpering in my sleep and my heart was going to beat out of my chest. For the days and weeks following, many many synchronicities. One of the most eerie though includes these song lyrics that say “I’ll see you in the future when we’re older, when we are full of stories to be told, cross my heart and hope to die”. Chills. I haven’t talked about this experience much before but I’m happy to share it here for like minded seekers. Namaste if you got this far ✌🏻

Real quick, if you feel nefarious entities creeping around the corners, be sure to focus on your heart and shield yourself from them. It helps to repeat a mantra like, “this is my home, you’re not welcome here” over and over again. Your bubble or shield will grow and they’ll retreat.

That's an incredible story. Sounds like you had a divine influx, followed by a spiritual emergence/spiritual emergency. The first time I did bufo, what happened after was wilder than the journey itself. I experienced an insane chain of synchronicities over months. Each one became more improbable, inexplicable and powerful than the previous. This may be a subtype of spiritual emergence known as psychic opening. Synchronicities are indicative of a psychic opening.

Limited experience with psychedelics, but curious if cardiac condition patients are at high risk of a complication. In my adventurous single days the reward I’d argue may outweigh the risk,but now middle aged with a family and loving children I will resort to education through your experiences, however deficient words are at explaining. Yes! I had an "antenna reset," I love this! At age 5 I had an OBE when my spinal cord was damaged by a beating. Things changed after that, but I was 5, I didn't understand and accepted it all as normal. I had another kind of reset later through psychedelics, everything intensified and then mostly stayed that way. If anyone else had the same experiences, they would know for themselves that their imagination could never manifest these entities, visions and interactions. They would also know that they weren't insane (hopefully) but would most certainly question it. I have never been successfully able to talk about it because of the language factor. When you try to put it in words, it really does sound crazy. It gets intense, very "physical" and very real. But there is absolutely no way to prove it. For me, it is very beautiful, and I want to share it so people know. But people don't want to know, it scares them. It scares me too, very hard to not feel fear when its happening. Its terrifying when it gets really real. Also, most people simply can't believe anything like these things can really happen, unless you're mentally ill. I get it. I'd like to think that living well, maintaining a job, a home, and a family well, and being a generally happy person would indicate sanity.....but no luck with that here. My mouth stays shut about it, for the most part.

I had a profound vision as well with the gateway process. It was wave 3. I made contact with a woman in a lab with a daft punk helmet. Her helmet was connected to wires and the bottom part towards the chin was hollow. She had very sharp teeth and had extremely thin facial structure and pale skin. it was one of the most emotional things I've ever experienced in my life. I couldn't feel the emotions but could intuitively understand what was going on. The moment we made contact she started to sob and cry that I could finally meet her. Then I heard some other muffled sounds in the room and she lashed out at the other people in the room when they asked her to stop doing what she did to remove me from the vision. At the moment I didn't really feel anything I felt numb as F but the following few days I felt extremely emotional and even sobbed myself. It's like we knew each other for lifetimes.

DMT is released naturally when you use your breath and meditation together. Particularly circular breathing which I don't see mentioned much . I did this in 2003 and had a full kundalini awakening /astral journey. My son did Tons of DMT ended up in hospital due to his lungs packing in. he is very damaged and I tried to intervene in his life 2 years ago and experienced an explosion of very powerful dark energy that humbled me severely, I live between humility and the sense I am limitless

We all build our unique way of seeing through the senses after altered states, yes it's like you gain a subtle field of awareness that needs to be channelled or held in perspective with life, but the way you put it 'it's like plaque that needs scrapping off to reveal our abilities' forgive me if I said it wrong 😂 but yes, I see what you mean, but you could also frame it like an 'adding on to' sort of, for those with a meditative sight, you don't need to take something to access the similar state, but how I see it is, having DMT with an inhibitor, it's like an adding to sort of awareness whist your conscious 😊

1:20:00 - for me DMT trip result felt very similar but I interpreted it as a bigger part of my soul has descended into this realm. It probably does not come fully into this experience and for me it kind of felt like it sent some reinforcement to support that part that was here doing the experience of life. I hear you. I had the same thoughts before. I eventually came to the realization that gratitude is the key. One of the great universal truths is that things can ALWAYS be worse. Just when you think you hit rock bottom, there's the door to the basement. The important thing is to truly be grateful for the way things are at any given moment. Be grateful that they are not worse even after they just got worse! Once you're there, forgiveness and patience just flow right out of you into those around you.

I understand the desire to try to validate an experience and convince others but I think people actually experience basic out of body types of experiences all the time. They are just conditioned not to really recognise it. For example; when I drive on a motorway I can be traveling for miles and have no awareness of it but there is always something there that snaps me back in if there is any type of danger. Almost everyone I have spoken to about this has had a similar experience. What about when we are doing some sort of creative or athletic task a kind of state of bliss where we kind of disappear and time disappears. And those who are fortunate enough to have experienced this one will know that in moments of deep physical and emotional connection in love making again that time, space, self vanishes. Most of us have had these types of experience and they clearly show that we are more than just neat machines. ❤❤❤

I had an experience once and I’m not sure if it was real or not. I was watching TV on the sofa and dozed off in a semi conscious state. Suddenly a dark shadowy form with sinister intentions came at me and - I think - tried to jump inside me. It was enough that I quickly pushed it off me and made my intentions clear that I would fight back for it to run off. I woke up a little shaken. Was that a dream or something else perhaps?

I only heard of DMT, I assumed it was a drug due to the limited information about it that has crossed my path and I haven't been enthused to research DMT. I have not used it and can say from direct experience, it is not needed to experience OOB. The last OOBs I have memories of were from 2015/16. I don't know why I haven't been successful in remembering OOBs since then. On occasion since then, I have reached the state of the feeling of being engulfed in a buzzing body which turns into a feeling of swaying side to side of the body, but for some reason do not stay conscious beyond that, unlike in 2015/16 when I did have experiences which I remember in detail even now... Watching your YTs makes me want to probe this reality again... Your Monroe experience very much reminded me of my first experiences... One of which I was unable to negotiate a staircase because I was not subject to the conventional experience of gravity and everything was visually blurry and unclear. Any way, I don't want to write a story bout that here... Thanks for your stimulating conversation...

Perhaps I can get some advice. I have listened to a few Robert Monroe semi-sync sound tracks. I am having a problem of the random sounds seems distracting.
