I love that this new era sounds like classic The Gathering with a fresh tune, Silje's voice is just so wonderful and mellow and the guys plays their hearts through the instruments. Amazing song, the band of my life

I think they're the only band that started as Death/Doom and kept doing great music despite all the changes. Even with the softer songs, they never disappoint, Silje's voice is softer than Anneke's, but she can, at the same time, sound sweet or haunting and ethereal.

The Gathering reminding themselves and us that regardless being an alternative band, they still can play rock. Beautiful melody, dark atmosphere, elegant execution. A sound that's trademark of the Silje era, but with a hint of the post-2000 Anekke years. Excellent.
