Such a great adventure over-landing is for a young family. For us older folks, the Winnebago is more than enough excitement. But for young active families, this is the adventure of a lifetime. So nice when you meet up with others to enjoy the fun together!

THANK YOU!!!! You are the fourth overlanding gear video I have tried to watch tonight. I could not finish the others--Too slow, too many words, bad pace and just not interesting. I got 10 minutes into YOUR video and had to stop the video to write THANK YOU!! This video is perfect--Perfect pace and covering a lot of products. Very good job!

So very well organized. A place for everything and everything in its place. Each thing is well thought out. Five people living in two jeeps must require the next level of organization for a smooth running operation, minus stress. Love the shower! Depending on the weather, you can need a shower a day.

Super excited for the 3 to be working with Clay. His team is brilliant. But I also think the 3 will bring so much value to Clay's team. They have a very different perspective having grown up in with the nomadic experience full time.

Food Tip: When making a quick chowder like that and you don't have the time/space/stuff to make a proper fish stock a bottle of clam juice (also known as clam nectar) really adds a punch. good luck to the kids, have fun with your new found freedom. (on both sides of the equation)

@@EFRT A carton of chicken broth, a couple of cans of V8 juice, some sort of meat, chopped cabbage, onion and your choice of seasonings gives a hearty road soup too. We often add drained and rinsed canned beans as well. Call it cabbage roll soup. The beauty of vehicle camping is you can carry cans...

I’m not being rude- but I’ve always been curious about two things. 1. What is your primary source of income? I’m assuming military pension (but you know what they say about assumptions). 2. Do you guys still own a home.? I’ve heard you say in a few videos you’ve been on the road for years and I believe you got rid of your RV. Great videos as always.

I just want to say this pandemic has got me watching all kinds of overlanding videos. I’ve been watching your series for some time now it’s so relaxing to watch while sipping some hot tea after coming home from work in the evening. I love the video editing and the soothing acoustic guitar music in the background. I’ve learned a lot about camping makes me want to go and get a Jeep. And I do love Jeeps. Haha! Truly great lifetime experiences. Keep it up 👍

RV hot news is a alternator that is safe to charge battery bank & 1 hr fast idle quiet can recharge battery bank 20%. It puts out 58 volts not standard 12-14. Seems the next big thing every 1 wants is that light clean quiet cheap to operate power backed up by solar. Normal batteries can't handle that quick/fast charge though.

When mounting the FR water jugs on your roof rack, do you use a Jerry can mounting tray or do you find that the jugs do fine on their own with simply tightening down with a stratchit?
@EFRT3 жыл бұрын
We didn’t have any problems mounting them up there with a scratchit or two but if you are doing a permanent set up the Jerry can holder is a really good idea. We knew we were changing up our rooftop tent etc. so we kind of went with a temporary solution.
