I live in Ireland, and when I was living in Galway city, many years ago, just about every flat was haunted. The one that was attatched to our work place: we would hear the big milk cans banging about in the night, and ask the storeroom lads, the next day, if they were disturbed. Nope. The flat I had by the old town walls had some long dead dude tramping up and down on his rounds, I assume, along the walls. Used to annoy me, getting woken up by a dead guy. The only scary ghost wasn't my experience, but a friend. There was a barbers in town, with flats overhead, which were always advertised as vacant. I thought, must be haunted, not in any serious thought, but a friend got a place there, and woke up to a man all in black, sitting by her bed, stroking her forehead. She ran! The hilarious part was when we went back with her, the n ext day, to get her stuff, the landlord complained about us spreading rumours, and also, we found, had hung holy pictures allover the walls, ha ha. That was years ago, and all of the buildings have changed use etc; I often wonder how the ghosts there are coping. By the way, I really enjoy your channel.

Here in kilkenny there is a dog of local renown and often the source of wild tales and malicious unfounded scorn and superstition. The story goes ..... It's owner saw fit to call his hound 'Radley' and everywhere the poor bedraggled cur set paw, the locals would shout 'BOO!' The poor mut was as a nervous wreck.

@@ghostcasebook1266 I’ve been living in my present apartment since August and there has been nothing unusual apart from my electric shaver cord disappearing two months ago. It’s not a big apartment and I have searched high and low but it’s nowhere to be found. I can’t imagine a burglar taking it and taking nothing else. Supernatural occurrences do run in my mothers side of the family, my grandfather was in training in the military in New York during WW2 when there was knocking on the door of his room which he shared with another soldier who also heard the knocking. He got up and answered the door and his mother was standing there and said “Goodbye”. The next morning he received a telegram from Ireland informing him that his elderly mother had passed away during the night. I used to listen to an American online show where people would phone in to describe their ghostly experiences and I started to hear odd noises and sometimes even things around my apartment at the time, would be in different places to where I know I left them. I did watch your video on the Ghosts of Bath today, after the whistling experience. I plan only watch your intriguing videos during the daylight hours from now on ☀️ it’s less nerve wracking that way 😅😅👻

major problem with the nothing more than myths about the so called Hellfire club-not one picture (painting) depicting the members or the locations actually matches any one of the so called locations such as the one in Ireland, The one in Ireland is clearly a retired mill of somekind not some lodge built by members to have orgies in. Lodges don't have industrial building tpe, Lodges don;t have iron star case railings, etc.
@mairtohainle97733 ай бұрын
There's absolutely no problem with the description and telling here, but there is with your critique. The building in the photo and the accompanying tale is 110% correct as the building in question is indeed 'The Hellfire Club' ( A Summer residence that was used from 1735 to 1741), in the Dublin mountains on Montpelier Hill; the old brass castle where a cloven hoofed Devil came to play cards. The reader tells the stories with a wonderful cadence and its evident that they've done 'their' research ...congrats to Ghost Casebook, this is a wonderful channel!
