awesome results but I have a few questions concerning "mutations" and *genetic off-shoots* from origin to base line genealogy..: I've noticed my dog who is part Belgian Malinois Shepard and American Boxer cross has 6 toes including his dew claws in the front paws but he has 5 toes on the hind paws.. neither his parents or grandparents,not even great grand parents have these rare features.. Could this be a latent recessive gene or dominate gene that just so happen to appear out of the blue?

In Jasher, God let's a wolf speak, and it's accurate., the wolf is allowed to live as a result. I know it's accurate because my 17 year old wolf understood complex human conversations. She with much patience did teach I how to interpret Wolf. And the book of Jasher, is accurate. In Isaiah, Wolves are promised Heaven.

Curious if you have any insight. I know a long lineage of wolf hybrids. Lots of various breeds of dogs, and 2 types of wolf. Mackenzie valley wolf, and artic wolf. Now they aren't stabilized bloodlines like some other types of hybrids. So pups can come out ranging fairly heavily. But one of the really high content very wolfy looking animals despite being more wolf then dog seems to behave essentially like a half way point. He's fine in cities. He loves people and other dogs. Highly trainable. Is it just his speciric personality or is 5 to 10 percent dog dna actually enough to dilute him down enough from a pure bred? Or do you think it's the artic wolf lineage helping out with less people fear? Know background is German shepherds, Akita inu and American Akita foundation stock from just post ww2. Malamute husky, bunch of random sled dogs and more primitive type husky lineages. Only a few dead give aways he isn't pure bred. His leg bones and some others are too thick even for his size and length. His head displays very decent hybrid vigor, bite is wider then a pure bred and in some ways slightly more bulky but the shaping other then the wider bite is essentially perfect wolf shape. Neck is also way thicker then a pure bred would be. Looks like the mackenvie valley wolf in summer in winter he shows a bit more white then normal. Compared to a large pure bred he's a couple inches shorter at the whither, but wider and thicker then a pure bred but still correct body shaping. He's not as long as a pure bred of equal weight but by only a few inches again. If memory serves like 34 or 34 inches at the shoulder or whithers. Just over 7 feet long. 175 pounds empty stomach summer coat. But he's a working dog. Companion protection/guard, wilderness guide dog, hunting dog and tracking. He could be a nanny dog if anyone was crazy enough to trust it, but yeah. Few weird behaviors that make him bit seem wolfy and way more dog content then he actually possesses. His one sibling is genetically less wolfy but way more pure bred in behavior. And also a good foot and a half shorter in length alot shorter in height and not nearly as much hybrid vigor.

Omg been waiting for an Ocean update. She is such a floof! The fact that with that high wolf content she acts like a lap dog shows what a difference nurturing makes. I have a rescue GSD/Rorwieler X. She is a complete cuddle bug... unless you are riding anything with wheels or show up at the door unannounced then it's game on... in a bad way. She's getting better but wheels are triggers for both GSD and Rotties so... on the plus side I live in a 'hood with issues but nobody fussed with me or my place. So thank you Karma. Would love to get my paws on a blue Shepherd for my next dog or a roommate for Karma and me. Need to be a rescue though.

Everyone was always so sure my Malamute Husky mix had some wolf in her because of certain features and personality, but I was disappointed when her son got his results and there was no wolf. It didn't occur to me that she still might be low content wolf, but didn't pass it to one of her children. She has one child and one grandchild still left alive, and now I'm determined to test them because they happen to be the most wolf like out of most of the litter, and they are still alive at 15 years old.

Americans breed in hip Dysplacia in GSDs, and these are breeding practices not permitted in Germany where the breed originated. Luckily my Great Pyrenees/Half GSD has a beautiful, perfectly straight back. My Mom 50 years ago got into breeding GSDs and only chose animals that did not exhibit those debilitating traits that the American Standard ignores to acknowledge the ill effects this slooping back has on the Breed and that they so love to extol in the Show Ring. your dog if you moved away from its original foundation lines becomes an "Outcross" if you bred away from the hip dysplasia .. here's a color chart with results: *Red fur* dominate gene affects the kidneys and liver(you can research all this on your own) I'm just giving you the run down.. *Blue fur* it can be latent,dominate or recessive gene: it's a recessive gene for hetero-paternal black fur genes and most common in black gene fur types.. doesn't effect organs but they are prone to not being able to absorb light line a tan or grey fur dog would be able to(black dogs are more common and more desirable however,the darker the dog the most likelihood they could suffer from heat strokes.. *Black fur* dominate or recessive: doesn't effect organs but it can effect eyes and some breeds experience early hearing loss cause of the over breeding for this color.. *fawn,faint blue,formentino,tan and golden* fur : these are uncommon traits but mainly seen in breeds who do water sports and field trials from Retrievers to Sight Hounds: these furs types doesn't affect organs or skin(but many are prone to allergies) which is a staple problem for long to medium hair breeds of these types.. *White or Leucastic* fur: rare and only happens in 1-100 or hardly never cause white is a color where any predator would be to spot them,and they can't hide in tundra,desert,tropical, or mountain areas(it's less desirable) but it's popular amongst breeders and collectors alike: they are prone to allergies,sun burns, and skin /eye pigment problems(be advised it will cost money on upkeep) *Albino* fur is rarest of all these types and it happens in less than 0.25/1000 litters unless it's a recessive trait from both parents(or dominate hetero-parental pair where it shows up from both of them) can affect eyes,skin,hearing, cause of the amount of melatonin doesn't exist or it's lacking the traits to stick with the desirable bio markers

That new Julius K9 long walk harness isn't going to last long on her.....I bought the largest size they do in it for my Alaskan Mal Loki and it just about fits him and that's maxed out on the adjustable velcro straps.....Great harness but I think they need to make larger versions unless they have already,I think mine is about 8 months old which I got from Julius themselves and it was the largest size they did at that time.....Oceans a beauty by the way ❤ 🐺.really enjoy your videos 🫡

P.s and I've got to admit the original version of the Julius k9 harness is a lot more sturdier I thought especially for these big powerfull dogs,thought the new one could have been bulked up a bit especially in the larger size ones anyway(the straps and handle etc)

That’s awful! How did the blue color get introduced into GSD? I love the color. I owned several blue Chows and currently have a blue Pekingese. Blue is a recessive gene and both parents must be at least carriers.

I found the idea that the littermates could vary so much counterintuitive and simulated a model of 500 tested gene pairs in which the parents were wolf hybrids like your blue pup's parents. It turns out that while 30% wolf is unlikely, it is not at all impossible. In fact, in my simulations, 3 pups of 100 were 30 or 31% wolf.

I just rescued a 2 year old white Alaskan husky watching Ocean love you up is so heartwarming she will be such a life long love for you oooooh how very awesome she is … I intend to do DNA on my rescue … he came with the name London he was found on the street in a Texan city starving and injured and very traumatized I’ve had him 3 months now and he is gradually letting down his walls he is very sweet …. I looked up the name London and it was Jack London’s penn name he wrote the book white fang he went to Alaska to research for the book it said he stayed with Algonquin Indians who gave him the the name London it means white wolf in their language I’ve had wolf dogs and except for his behavior I would say his wolf content would be very low if any but we shall see THANKYOU for your awesome channel and you also have beautiful children

Well, I love this DNA reveal. To be honest: if I look at your children, I must say that they are two amazing youth, but the Japanese actually is more clear in the looks of your son, who has less of the genes. This proofs that looks and DNA are a puzzle. I recently been to an event where soms folks had a very nice tamaskan. Not sure if it had wolf DNA, but it was surely interested in the saucages I had in my bag.

I politely disagree. Her daughter definitely looks more Japanese to me and her son hardly looks Japanese. And I am Chinese myself, and Chinese look similar to Japanese. I can tell where most Asians come from by looking at them when most people can't.
