Hmmm. So, giant stems take a long time to activate their nodes. That explains why my giant stem Hawaiian pothos and giant stem five-finger syngonium nodes have taken so long to activate. I’m sure there’s a scientific explanation somewhere 🤔

I would really cut the big stem close to the leaves and then it will grow roots on that piece. You won’t find anything to plant that whole chunk in.

Seems like the giant logs are harder to work with, not really what I was expecting. Glad to know I should just keep working with the plant I got rather than buy some giant nodes (as tempting as it sounds)

Too much plants in that quantity of water, the plants eated the little quantity of nitrogen in the water reducing it in a very low concentration unsostainable for the plant. This is my experience.

​@@TechplantChannelthe molecules inside the water don't need air to move. What was missing was a big tank of fertlized water and a pump to connect the tank and rhe pot. Fertilizing water is difficult for the very low concentration of fertilizer needed, good luck 😊
