Can you change the woods of an acoustic? For example, would it be better to choose a Dove base model (w/ maple body) but then change it to a smaller scale length, or choose a Hummingbird (mahogany) then change it to maple?

How do you access the Made To Measure Program?

Hey Garrett, I placed an order at the Gibson garage in November 2021 for a m2m Lp custom with the same super 400 split block inlays. I’m still waiting for it and they mentioned the inlays were the hold up. I’m just wondering how long it took you guys to get the black one you showed. I spec’d with the V1 neck, ebony fretboard, split block inlays, custombuckers, no weight relief routing but asked for a hand selected lightweight mahogany back, alpine white top only with the back sides and neck a natural dark walnut

For the absurd amount of money these cost, you really don’t get that many options for customization.

That's what "custom" shop means nowadays. You're only given a few options by the company to choose from. Not the other way around. The only real "custom shop" that legitimately is custom is probably ESP

@@LeonRHarvey there’s plenty of big and small name manufacturers that will let you fully customize your build to varying degrees. ESP has their production custom shop instruments with fixed specs, the USA shop with limited spec changes, or a full blown MIJ custom where the sky is the limit.
