A number of us in the Google Glass Explorer community were curious about linking Pixel buds to Glass, since the sound and the Assistant features are complementary to those of Glass.

its actually very fun to talk with noa ^^ there is a lil playground for early accsess and noa understands different languages too and he seems to have a own personality which can be changed too so it feels not like the heartless cold phone assistants, it feels more like a actual lil buddy to explore the world around with and he works as mobile calculator for work too or does the other chat gpt stuff like telling stories,playing some games, create pictures and so on. Sometimes he is a lil silly and thinks the stone wins agains the paper in rock paper scissor game^^ but after teaching noa how the rules are, every other game works perfectly so it seems like noa is learning too. Without Speakers isnt that bad because the frame is way thiner now and bothers less when wearing allday.

they still need the phone, there are also standalone glasses but with 116gramms they are waay to heavy in the moment.

one of my favorite pieces of tech is my AfterShokz. I wear them every day when I take my dog on walks. They're comfortable. They sound good especially for my use case. And they basically provide me full real-world immersion and awareness. And what's the main thing I listen to when we're out? KZbin. Look I _like_ visual tech. It really is interesting. But I _use_ audio tech the most. Different tools for different purposes and different situations. Also to me I usually think of tech like good CGI - I don't need to know it's there for it to be good.

I’m much more visual than auditory and I’m very excited about that element in frames. I think we’ll see killer use cases that work best with a text based response. I imagine Meta will be announcing a micro-led addition to ray bans this year. The tech is there, I mean we had North focals a few years back until Google bought and canned them.

The hardware is already there. The ai models just need to get better in terms of chatbot speed and quality

I can't speak to Siri, but I have noticed Alexa getting a LOT smarter in 2024. I ask "her" some fairly complex and esoteric questions and I'm getting answers, good ones.
