That was a fine, cheeky wee loop Dave. Perfect for this time of the year. 😎 Was just looking at your route on the map. I've been further North on Beinn Dubh, but not there. My Ghillie does the same as Amber with that roll, but tends to roll in Foxes shite. 🙈
@ALochOnTheWildSide2 жыл бұрын
Hiya Kev - aye it's a good, wee, fairly local walk. Beinn Dubh is a cracking wee hill too and a few others in behind Luss. Ahh dog rolls, don't' talk to me about that Amber has rolled in some pretty nasty stuff - one I can't even talk about...it was funny (I think) but not definitely not nice! 🐶🐶👍

Nice one Davie, just shows you don’t need to go far for a decent walk. Looked a nice loop in glorious conditions. Well done and nicely edited.👏👏 ATB Frank.👍🏔🥾
@ALochOnTheWildSide2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Frank - I have been watching all you guys to try and improve the editing a bit...every day is a school day. Been round there a few times but fancy giving it a go in the snow after watching you and Pauls adventures which is hard core but this would be a good starter route for me. 👍👍
@hikingwithfrank3152 жыл бұрын
@@ALochOnTheWildSide your editing is spot on Dave, think we’re all learning bits & bobs as we go along, looking back on some of my vids from a couple years ago I’m like WTF.🤣🤣 Yeh that looks a good route for some snowy conditions.🤞🤞 we get a good dolloping. Cheers.

Bang on the money Frank - my early vids are cringeworthy - but that is where they are staying because that is where I was at - at that moment in time...no regrets, and at the end of the day we are not film makers with big crews just 1 man band 'trying to create something dudes' and that will do for me. 👍...bring on the snow. ☃☃❄❄

Fantastic day out dave with some great information 👌. I watched while at the gym and was confused 😕 about your route. I was mixed up with loch finglas that I done a few years ago where you start at brig o turk. All good now different loch lol 😆. Brilliant again bud 👏
@ALochOnTheWildSide2 жыл бұрын
Was a good wee day cheers Tam. I figured you might have been thinking Finglas when you asked if we were doing the full loop - so just left you in suspense. You are fair hitting the old Gym now mate...need a starty for any fishing next season! 🦈🦈

Enjoyed that with a wee cuppa in bed feeling all guilty that I never went out this morning! Looked at all my gear sitting at the front door and jumped back into bed! This looks great Dave! I will need to look at this on the map. Looks like a better option than a big 3 hour drive. Loving wee amber enjoying the ice...Paddy will do exactly the same thing, their mannerisms are very similar. You are obviously well familiar with the area...is parking and access easy enough at the start? Paul
@ALochOnTheWildSide2 жыл бұрын
Morning Paul - Pity about your gear! Looks like it's going to be a quite nice day today. Finlas is a good wee leg stretcher walk - about 6hrs total with all the film and lunch stops. Aye the Borders Terriers are all much the same, always alert and on the hunt and give them a wee belly rub and they are in heaven. Yes parking is all good and allowed, it's hard to describe as not a layby or anything just a little slip type thing at the start of the Hall Road then walk across and up a wee tarmac road that's signposted 'Shemore Farm' 👍👍
