Awesome scenery. And there wasn't a single white van to get in your way - obviously, they don't know where you were for this trip. One of my favorite poems is "Lady of the Lake" by Sir Walter Scott. I had to study it for an English literature course in college, and fell in love with the poem and story. And it's all centered on Loch Katrine. I'm glad I got the chance to enjoy see the lake for the first time in my life through your wonderful videos. Now I have to wait again for next week.

The road round Loch Katrine used to be closed to motorcycle cars buses etc except if you stay on the loch but you can cycle one walk round it but that my have changed. And its loch (not lock) 😂 I shouldn't laugh because I'm as bad with Welsh names but you've gotten them all wrong up to now 😂 I used to live at the top of loch Katrine took it for granted hope you had a wonderful time 👍👍

Yes it was fabulous...and I was indeed staying on the loch so that was my excuse for riding around it in a later episode - stay tuned!

Thanks for the video, I am thinking about getting a CRF for my winter commute, 9 miles each way and cruising at 55 to 60 mph on country A & B roads; would you recommend it for this role?

How did you get the little Honda to Scotland? Did you ride whilst your wife drove the car or did you somehow attach it to the car?
@davidcarr49917 жыл бұрын
Right at the very end, there is a bike trailer parked near the cottage, behind the car.

Could you please make a video about how you transport the bike via trailer etc? Maybe a review of the trailer you use? If I ever got a crl I would want to transport it with my car but despite having road bikes for decades the transportation of off road bikes is a mystery to me! And I'm assuming you didn't ride the crl from high Wycombe to Scotland?!!!
