Jung Sung-il's portrayal of Do Yeong shone brightly in this drama, captivating audiences despite having less screen time. His brilliant execution of the character, particularly the alpha male energy he brought to the role, was truly impressive. The way he delivered his lines and actions, especially the scene where he confronted Jae Joon and the way he landed those punches on him telling him you don't fuck with me son, was powerful and impactful. His performance undoubtedly elevated the drama's intrigue and engagement. I eagerly await seeing him in more projects where he can showcase his talent further.

The setup for the Do Yeong and Jae Joon fight was amazing because, in every fight that we have seen Jae Joon in previously, he DOMINATED his opponent. So seeing him run into that stonewall Do Yeong who took Jae Joon as light work, was epic! Just because Do Yeong comes from money and is a CEO doesn't mean he hasn't been in these streets! It was such an amazing series. They deserve all the praise for the writing, directing, and acting in this series.

“Save me” is a very good drama. It’s about cult and girl trying to escape it. Mr.Sunshine is another good one. It’s shows 1919-20s Korea under Japanese government, love story during Koreans fighting against Japanese colonialism. “Signal” is a fantastic drama, a detective somehow connects with a detective from 1980s (past), and they try to solve the case of several murders and they try to find the serial killer who has not been caught for years Lastly, my another favourite one is “Kingdom” about zombies in Joseon era (early Korea)

Taxi Driver kdrama that has 2 seasons its really good and i haven't seen many reactions to this drama series. Most cases in the episodes are inspired from real cases and the episodes are quite intense.

I would personally suggest 18 Again. This is a show remake of the Zac Efron movie 17 again. And honestly I think would be a great show to genuinely show the difference between western media and Asian media. The kdrama aspects get really highlighted bcoz you have sth to compare them with. The approach the korean show takes in comparison to the American movie is much better and much more moving. And another drama that involves time travel is a show called "Twinkling Watermelon". This show is one of the most loved shows of this year. It is slightly influented with the movie CODA. Another emotionally moving drama too.

2:41 Glad you noticed this. It's easy for many westerners to miss because it's subtle and not the focus of the scene, but gestures like these are very known Korean-boyfriend-expectations over there. And before you say "it's not uniquely a Korean thing to be a gentleman" - that's not what I'm saying. Opening your girlfriend's bottles without being asked, walking on the sidewalk closer to the traffic while the girlfriend walks on other side of him (also a thing in the west); little things like these are expected of men in relationships and Korean boys grow up being socialized of such behaviors.

It's a good episode the first where you really see things turning around and Yeon-jin being backed into a corner. We also learn the real nature of Sa-ra's relationship with Myeong-oh as it seems like he's just her errand boy too but she's actually the slave to her addiction and the drugs he can get her, even being used by him sexually because she desperately wants the drugs so he can make her do anything. This episode marks the start of the downfall for the entire group and it only gets more exciting from here.
