The glory hole spillway operating on top of the Owyhee Dam in Oregon

The gate ring spillway doesn't operate very often, but the reservoir is 94 percent full. It's a sight to see both mesmerizing and terrifying at the same time. The Owyhee Dam also has a really interesting history.

They should plant trees on the hills around the lake and use the excess water to irrigate it.
