NOTE: It's a joke, people. Calm down.
Also: Obviously this is just silliness shared with other vinyl nerds, but I am actually serious about the Glue-All. That really DID mess up a record. Seriously, DO NOT try that!
The Glue Method for Deep Cleaning Vinyl Records, Part 2. Atticus Martin explains his methods for using wood glue to clean records. Subscribe and stay tuned for Part 3: Vinyl Flattening

I actually utilized every method and technique that he demonstrated in this video on a very rare Britney Spears Acetate LP that I bought on eBay a few years back for several thousand dollars. Needless to say, after I applied these methods and played back the LP I found that it actually improved Britney’s singing and she actually sang in tune which is something that I had never heard from her before!! Truly Amazing!! Thank you so much for this video!!

Can't reply to some of you - not sure why. But, yes, this was just us being silly. I know the glue method DOES work when done properly, and even the sandpaper method can work if very careful. The people that are upset with the video are just taking it way too seriously. No skin off my nose. We are vinyl nerds just having fun

It becomes more and more like a Tim & Eric bit as it progresses and I love it. Also, this actually makes me a little more confident in attempting a legit glue cleaning because despite this being intentionally awful that glue really wanted to peel off in one sheet. So, thanks for that!

I'm new to vinyl and you guys definitely had me going there through most of this video. I was like "Oh, he ripped off the entire label with duct tape? That doesn't seem correct, but he said not to worry. So, I still have faith this is going to work out." Then the cursing and sanding block came out. .. 😂

I'm a real vinyl lover with my 5000 lps collection. And your video's are the BEST truth about what to know in cleaning; and mostly glass beds!!! And luckily I sell some beds, the special audio one for, only $ 5.00 each, a bargain, but you need 10, not 5! and black, not clear. Thats why you miss. My beds work for CD's too! You are absolutely awesome guys and I look to you when i feel depressed (at each period time, each month :-) ). Cher's from Montreal.

Atticus is doing a great service here in the VC - kids don't seem to want to read or use logic, so seeing this videos should really help them get their vynals as clean as possible. The sanding technique is one of those hidden gems even I haven't talked about - you are really breaking ground here (and gonna make the collectors real mad!). I hope you know about a real technique dealers sometimes use (true fact), they coat the records in lighter fluid - this covers up the surface scratches and restores the rainbow to the vinyl - sure it degrades the record severely, but once you sold it, who gives a shit!

I think dipping them all the way in the glue is the best. It's fast, efficient and easy. And the duck tape works great! Basically, you will never have to worry about the label again! Will look to you for further advice on the care of my precious LP's. Thanks so much. We should actually find a way to pay you for your efforts at preserving vinyl. You should at least get some kind of award. Maybe a Grammy or something? BTW, where do you get the gallon bottle of Elmer's glue?
