This guy is extremely talented/ entertaining. Myself I just got into air Guns a couple years ago, and I am genuinely hooked. I have probably purchased 30-40 rifles, several high end one and 5-6 air pistols3-4 high end ones, and a bunch of C02 pistols that make great conversation pieces. Andrew is one of the best off hand shooters I have seen, not that I am any expert or even close, but he’s good for sure.

Do it, take the leap, I’m like you said, more of a firearm guy. I watched a few videos here and a couple others and ordered a Megalodon. A 50 cal , I been having a blast with it since I got it. im waiting on 300 lead ball ammo to show up, less than 12 bucks per 100 from hornady. im going in deep i guess, i figure i can plink with the ball ammo into a backstop and trap and then melt the balls down and cast them into slugs. my brother is an amature blacksmith, he is pretty good at casting stuff also. i highly recommend pcp airguns as a hobby. The big bores are fun as can be and if you like benchrest or sandbag shooting the smaller bore guns with regulators on them get as many as 40 and 50 consistent shots per air charge. Some really tack driving stuff out there, I’m sure you have seen most of it. As a fellow powder burner I can say to you I don’t regret spending the small fortune I dropped to be able to fill and shoot a pcp rifle. Just in case you’re concerned you may, I can say to you I don’t. For what it may be worth Sir. The first time you shoot a big bore at something 75 to 100 yards away you clearly see the difference between air and gun powder, the delay until impact is what you notice, it’s like a faster arrow or bolt. At least from my perspective. There are many options out there, that’s the part I personally didn’t enjoy, tormenting over the final choice. So far I’m happy though. Happy shooting with what ever you shoot next with my friend!

I’m not a huge shotgun fan, but that looks like a really fun airgun. I can also attest to the power the pcp rifles can have, I recently bought my first pcp , a megalodon, it has impressive penetration and even slug expansion depending on ammo choice. They are just as lethal as any firearm. They are well past the point of BB guns. Many already produce energy levels approaching those of some firearms. 7000psi stuff is supposedly next on the pcp menu. 4500psi is already crazy strong in my humble opinion. Love the content. Liked the way you did the different shot set ups, good stuff.

Thank you! It is crazy whats available now. The megalodon is a beast, hollow points are very effective in that setup.
@akseminole4 ай бұрын
To be clear, 7,000 psi isn’t the power level of the guns that will be equipped with that (if you are talking about the AEA Airguns) but rather they will still be 4,500 psi, but the 7k psi tank will be regulated down to 4,500 psi to give you more Full Power shots.

@@toxicmatrix1337 , I got some 235 grain HP that shoot really good groups from the rifle. Being the first pcp I have ever even touched I was a little anxious dropping that much on what is just another pellet rifle to most people. I was a little afraid I would get it and not enjoy it enough to warrant the cost. In fact watching you demonstrate a megalodon was what made me decide I would take the risk and try out a pcp. I do not regret spending the money on it in the least at this point. I have had a blast with it. I just ordered 3 boxes of Hornady lead round ball ammo to plink with. Talk about a giant sized BB, that is a serious BB, lol. Keep up the good reviews, I’m thinking on adding a smaller caliber rifle to my gun rack now that I have the 50 cal Meg. Maybe something regulated in 22 or 25 cal. I’m almost recovered from buying the Meg from a funding aspect enough to start thinking about a 2nd one. The pistols are cool and I like the demonstrations , but I think I’ll just stick to my trusty powder burner where it comes to pistols.
@toxicmatrix13374 ай бұрын
@@noonespecific9463 The Megalodon is great, tons of power. If you get a 22 cal, you can get by without a regulator. I have a Benjamin Kratos 22, I get 72 rounds per fill and you cant really tell theres much of anything dropping off until the last mag. The Gauntlet is great for the money, comes in 22 25 and 30, is regulated if you do want one that way.

@@toxicmatrix1337 , cool , thanks I’ll check those out, I recently watched a guy dissect a regulated air rifle and then reassemble it. They are o rings, I was worried about leaking, but it’s all o rings and it’s still a regular hammer, just no firing pin, it just smacks a valve. Having no regulator is a plus when it comes to tearing one down to fix a leak. So I will definitely check out the Benjamin , I’ve always heard good things about their products. 70 shots is plenty. With the shorter barrel on this, it doesnt produce as much power. With the 32" it makes up to 1500ft/lbs, a 12ga slug is rated over 2000ft/lbs. By comparision this is probably 1/2 to 2/3 the power of 12ga birdshot.
