He just means grandfather of rally car racing correct? Because for Mass produced cars it was the AMC Eagle with all time 4-wheel released in late 1979. including models from hatchback to sedan to wagon.

awsome video the quattro was a amazing car saab invented the turbo audi invented 4wd they then put the 2 together and made this monster ! all modern day cars like scobbys evos wher basically modeled from this wana see somthing a little diffrent ? try 1200+ bhp subaru runing 7.7 sec 1/4 mile with offical times its mental trust me

I must disagree with this guy. I think its also the most beautiful car ever built! Its lines cant be compared to a ferrari or any other car like that. But i sure love it.
