I have to say Aaron is doing a fantastic job with these demo's, for me i actually find his playing covers a really wide spectrum which is vital when demonstrating new gear. This Pedal sounded incredible with more fine tuning abilities than some of the other's out there. Yes, a lot of people will say its not like the original but for £249 and the range of tone it covers i think its incredibly good value. Excellent job Aaron

Hi, I feel like to level pot on mine is way too sensitive, it goes from no sound to very loud on the first quarter of the knobs range, is it normal ? It's very hard to balance with my clean tone

@@raphexe Just like the original KLON, the Halcyon Gold has a lot of output level. Unity is often found below 12 o'clock.

The original has a bigger and warmer tone, but is a more limited in a gig situation. I swapped my Mythical Overdrive (germanium diodes) for the Halcyon Gold because freaky power supply noises all the time, and the Halcyon does just what was intended: Super quiet, blends with the amp well, gives me some useful features. For that specific sound, the Mythical Overdrive sounds a little better than the slightly more glassy and thinner Halcyon, but the Halcyon Gold just works flawlessly, plays well with my other pedals, doesn't make apocalyptic power supply noises much clear clean tone when volume rolled down.

A bit fuzzy. I love origin and use their compressor, but ill stick with my Unobtainium for my klon needs. Great playing btw.

These pedals sound great but your playing sounds greater. Honestly this whole belief that nothing sounds as good as the original Klon is complete and utter elitist nonsense! All of these pedals sound amazing and the bigger determining factor is the feel of the player, not what they're playing through. Jeff Beck could pick up a $200 strat copy from K-Mart, plug it in and withing 60 seconds have it sounding like none other than Jeff Beck! Great demo and thank you.

Obviously you’ve never A/Bd the clones with a real Klon. I’ve done it with a dozen clones and none got even close.

@@Stoffe958 So that my message is properly understood, I’m not complaining that he doesn’t talk, just that he’s Jacks replacement and Jack regularly talked to camera about the guitars he was playing, he presented and interacted with the viewer, which I liked. But so far, in the videos I’ve seen, Aaron hasn’t talked to camera so I’m wondering if he is there simply to play and not be a like for like replacement for Jack.
