That photo at the railroad\truck terminal would have been so common through the 50s and now extinct replaced by domestic containers. Especially enjoyed the publicity photo @ Howard Johnsons as I remember them along the turnpike's out east and we had one in Glendale WI where we would get pistachio ice cream

Probably the oldest picture of a Midwest coast transport truck I’ve ever seen. Drove for them back in the late Seventies, early eighties. Good times, great memories.
