Something I loved is how they put us in the perspective of Steven throughout the entire episode. Because Marc is the main host body, and the one who was resurrected by Khonshu, it puts us the viewer in Steven’s shoes as if we’re experiencing his mental troubles and questioning of reality with him. Very genius imo. And I’m sure we’ll get to see Marc’s comic origin and becoming MK (or a version of it) through flashbacks. As someone who’s been a fan of Moon Knight for years, I was incredibly happy with how this first episode was, and love that they saved the suit reveal towards the end. Honestly gets a 10/10 from me

the voice in his head (who BTW is F Murray Abraham, and is also the Bird skull headed man we see throughout the episode) is the Egyptian God Khonshu. the God of the Moon who turned Marc Spector into the Moon Knight

Oscar Isaac is amazing! This first ep was fantastic. And since I've been absolutely obsessed with everything Egypt since I was a child, the hype is EXTRA. Btw, I was at that museum in London a few years back before COVID on a weekend visit. It's gorgeous!

I'm neither very much familiar with Moon Knight's abilities, but I think everytime he kinda passes out, Marc Spector (His other personality) takes over his body and do the job, because like Khonshu said earlier when he realized Steven Grant was in control instead of Marc Spector, he wasn't supposed to he there. He might be aware that he has problems (that's why he has this shackle thingy on his right leg whenever he sleeps), he just doesn't realized he's schizophrenic.

The sand is to see if he went sleepwalking, so is the bike lock, and the tape on the door. I also think it's cool that he steps on sand first thing every morning and Ethan Hawk walks on the glass all day turning it into sand.
