Hey, so my friends and I are pretty new players to SoT and if anyone in the comments could answer some questions I have I'd be very grateful. If i'm not mistaken you need to be at least level 40 to do fort of the damned and athena quests? What's the best way to level up? I've also seen on Mason's video the addition of the harpoons on outposts and where you can sell all the treasure to just one person now? Is that something I have to unlock from gold hoarders or how do I do that? I think that is really important to utilize. I used to play a bit back when the game first came out but with these new patches it's hard to relearn everything. Is there any benefit of owning ships or does it not matter if you charter or own? Thank you!

U can do fort of the damned at any level u just need a ritual skull and to complete the six flames of fate (die in 6 specific ways to ignite the different color skulls in the fort of the damned room. U will have to look up 6 flames of fate to know which ways u have to die). To do athena voyages u need to reach lvl 100 with guardians of fortune (hourglass pvp) and be a pirate legend to unlock the Athena’s fortune hideout. Ur first priority should be buying a ship. It makes selling much easier (u can sell everything to sovereigns) and its what u see in these youtube vids. The fastest way of lvling each faction is by buying their emissary flag and spamming voyages for that specific faction

The map bundle will despawn after a time limit along with loot if its not on the table.

"They got the treasure donated pop up" No, they didn't. Everyone gets this wrong; the other crew only get that if you take the loot off their ship and put it onto your ship. Picking stuff up and putting it down on their ship only gives you the treasure donated pop up, not them. People in Twitch chat's see the treasure donated pop up on Mason's end and assume that the other crew are getting that too. They don't. Only when you put loot they have handled onto your ship do they get the treasure donated pop up. They probably spotted Mason on the bowsprit furiously fondling the loot.

SOT community is full of CoD rejects that have nothing better to do with their time, than to chase and sink boats with 1 chest on it. I mean lets be real, the sword launch has been a thing since day 1 and its still not patched. 😂 The only reason half you sweats get any content is by needing to speed boost your way into places and onto ships instead of actually being good. Or the best part, when you need 2+ people to out cannon a solo with no loot. 🤡
