The man hanging has been explained two ways. Some say it was one of the members of the choir who sang off key. Others insist it was an audience member who forgot to turn off their cell phone.

The hanging man & the silhouette image of the cowboy are iconic images from the movie The Good The Bad & The Ugly, for which this was from. If you watch the movie (you should) it will make sense. And now that you have heard this, you will recognize bit & pieces of it used in MANY advertisements, etc. The wah-wah lady is one of my favorite things about this video. Someone pointed out her pistol earrings to me, which is just the icing on the cake for this particular performance. I looked her up & her name is Tuva Semmingsen & not surprisingly she sings like an angel as well. Very talented lady, as they ALL are here for sure. Tysheen, never hesitate to check out anything iconic from the past, there is typically a reason these things were so popular & beloved by so many. You already have reacted to some much older stuff, so I see you are open to it. Great job, keep up the journey, it will always have fun surprises for you!

That songs gives me the chills every time I hear it. What gets me is the composer, the man who wrote it. How. How do you figure out the timing of every instrument, and what instruments to make that amazing sound. That is what always gets me when I listen to classical. As for the man hanging, I know the movie started with a man with a noose around his neck, it was a scam to get the award money. The movie also ends with the same guy in a noose.

I think everyone already knows this but just in case. The man hanging is a representation of the "Ugly" man in the movie who was hanged and Clint Eastwood shot the rope thereby allowing the man to fall and not die. The song, as everyone I hope knows, is the theme song of the movie - The Good The Bad and The Ugly. Also, at 7:12 - you see the in the top, center a silhouette of a man with cape and cowboy hat, I hope everyone knows this is the main character in the movie that Clint Eastwood plays. I think everything I said is quite obvious but just in case you needed clarifaction.

This was from their Western theme, They have also done "For a few dollars more" & Once upon a time in the West. As well as a Starwars night, a James Bond night, A Fantasy night (Game of Thrones, Lord of the Rings), A Sci-Fi Night (Fifth Element, Blade Runner, Interstellar, Star Trek), A Mafia themed Night. I haven't heard them all, but some of them. Also James Hetfeld from Metallica is a big fan of Western , and that is why Metallica always enter the scene with "the ecstasy of gold" from The, Bad & the Ugly, and have done that since 1983.

Ennio Marricone was the composer to this movies, as well as so many others for a few decades. He was Italian. Of course, this was for a "Spaghetti Western". There was a time when westerns were filmed in Italy, directed by Italians, composed by Italians. I love the horns in this piece, which fits the Western theme, I think. You should see the movie this was from. It is a trilogy, but each movie stands alone. Clint Eastwood stars: A Fist Full Of Dollars For a Few Dollars More The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly

Ok, I read several explanations for the Hangman but only 1 person was close, and he was vague as to not give away any spoilers for those of you who have Not watched the movie. And if you look behind the orchestra you see a picture of the main protagonist of the movie. So these visuals have to do directly with the movie. The plot point for the hangman (Spoilers) is part of a Con job or swindle that the Good and Ugly characters of the story would pull on small towns. The Good would take the Ugly into a town that has a "bounty" out on the Ugly and collect the gold bounty. Then when they are set to "Hang" the Ugly the Good (from a distance) would shoot the rope as they pulled the lever to hang him. Then he would land on the horse and he would ride away and meet up with the Good. They would pull this Con multiple times in the movie and of course things change. There is so much happening in this movie it's amazing jumping from scene to scene all to find some buried treasure. The Second verse of this song is the ending 3 way standoff and afterward the noose is introduced again for a final show. So it's not just a symbol of the times but more Iconic for the whole underlying theme of the movie!

Ennis's stuff is wonderful, and a very good performance, would suggest checking out the spaghetti western orchestra they achieve a similar effect but there is only five or six of them all playing multiple instruments it's amazing as well

The music in that movie, while wonderful, if only one of several reasons why that movie is considered a masterpiece. The cinematography was also fantastic, groundbreaking at the time. The three main stars (Clint Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef, Eli Wallach) are movie legends in their own rights, the story sucked you in and took you places you never expected to go, and (in a departure from many previous westerns) the scenes were very gritty and pulled no punches. At the same time there was minimal gore, no profanity, and Eli Wallach was the only nude ("Take your gun off and put your pants on." Great line.) The two pieces of music in this video were the theme and "The Ecstasy of Gold", but there were many more pieced of beautiful music in this movie. You owe it to yourself to get your popcorn and watch this movie. Better yet, do a reaction to it.

I noticed that you reacted to man hanging from the ceiling. It is a reference to the classic movie when Clint Eastwood just getting big in the movies. Prior to this movie, Clint was in a TV Western Series called Rawhide as Rowdy Yates. See the movie to see why man hanging

How do you think the sound tracks were made for the movies in "the old days"? Orchestras like this even in the silent movie days smaller in size sat behind the screen and played the music. Their was even when this movie came out they buy sound bites to splice those sounds they created it with instuments including the human voice.

this reminds me much of "the greatest show on earth" from "nightwish" live in tampere. Not because the music is the same, but it is on the same I wish I was there level. Maybe you want to react to that song too. You will be blown away
