When an intruder with a knife broke into his family's home, Pancho the dog jumped into action, taking on the suspect and subduing him until police could make an arrest. Pancho was stabbed in the neck but is now recovering "beautifully," said Mattie Allen, communications director for the Española Humane in New Mexico.
