My theory on that "glug-glug" sound. It could be the Iron Giant attempting to splash Egghead with seawater like Zunisha did on his back. Exposing the Gorosei's potential weakness. I believe their "immortality" comes with a price: They are far more susceptible to basic DF user weaknesses like kairoseki and seawater than your basic DF user.

It’s interesting having gone from a Saturn specific arc to now back with dealing with the gorosei as a unit. A lot of people suspected that Saturn might be defeated in this arc but I don’t see how that can be the case. How can any one of them be beaten when contending with all of them at once? Even when Saturn was alone fighting the group off, nothing anybody did was effective and we still haven’t learned how to counter their restorative abilities. So long as we don’t know how to counter their regeneration, I don’t see how any gorosei can be beaten. On top of that, so long as the Gorosei fight as a unit like this, it doesn’t seem like any of them will fall.

There’s no doubt that warcury’s durability feat against luffy is super impressive. There’s a couple of things to compare it to. When luffy fought katakuri, they clashed giant haki fists (gear 3rd, mochi) and luffy had a similar reaction of having damaged his hand. Likewise on onigashima, luffy legitimately injured kaido with a red roc from above, like he did here. Now, luffy has used red roc combined with gear third, and injured his hand attacking warcury from above, who was not only not injured but also did not seem to be protecting himself with haki. This guy is going to be a menace, I wonder if he even had to regenerate from luffy countering Saturns explosive attack.

@@SyvRetcon With chapter 1113 spoilers out I'm more hype to see Robin potentially pull out Demonio Fleur after her friends get hurt defending her and getting a reveal about Robin's fruit/devil ability/Robin herself. Especially since the spoilers establish that she recognizes that Saturn gave the command to destroy Ohara. Not only that but the crew finally gets to witness Demonio Fleur which translates to "Demon Bloom" Edit: Further theorizing that if Robin can become a demon like the Gorosei can she may demonstrate that you have to be a demon to harm a demon. Dare I say the 5 elder stars will match up with 5 devil fruit using strawhats? If I'm right you can take the credit and run with it haha.
