I am 82 years old & gave my life to God when I was 15 years old. After listening to your teachings, I realized many of the teachings I have heard was not what the true word of Jesus is. Giving your life to God never saved you, it is HE gave His life for you. John 10:28-29. Romans 6:23. The GIFT of God is eternal life. Once you accept the free gift you have eternal life.

It is too bad Spurgeon tried to harmonize free will and determinism which is like trying to come up with a geometric figure which is simultaneously SQUARE and a CIRCULAR. Such propositions are not divine paradoxes but NONSENSE. As C. S. Lewis wrote: His Omnipotence means power to do all that is intrinsically possible, not to do the intrinsically impossible. You may attribute miracles to Him, but not nonsense. This is no limit to His power. If you choose to say, ‘God can give a creature free will and at the same time withhold free will from it,’ you have not succeeded in saying anything about God: meaningless combinations of words do not suddenly acquire meaning simply because we prefix to them the two other words, 'God can.' It remains true that all things are possible with God: the intrinsic impossibilities are not things but nonentities. It is no more possible for God than for the weakest of His creatures to carry out both of two mutually exclusive alternatives; not because His power meets an obstacle, but because nonsense remains nonsense even when we talk it about God.” ― C.S. Lewis, The Problem of Pain The Ante-Nicene teachers understood this very well, which is why for 400 years they were able to boldly take a stand and clearly debate against the fatalistic philosophies of their time.

@@me3709 Your hypothetical is impossible. God has given you the ability to repent and God has given you the ability to believe. What God will not do is to make the decision for you. It is not tje will of the Father that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Nothing is beyond the power of God. Some will be cast into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. God is a loving Father. So, all these things together mean, He wants you to join Him and not try to pay for your own sins. He will allow you to choose for yourself. He will not invalidate your choice, even if it is the wrong one.

It's VERY important which translation of God's word is used. 1 Corinthians 1:18 [18]For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. Kjv. It's a big difference of 'being' saved as opposed to 'are' saved. We ARE saved, NOT being saved. Also, the gospel is 1st Corinthians 15:1-4. Belief 😇

@@MrJarredification yer well everyone seems to be obsessed with put music over everything it's like going to a sermon or lecture and there is a band playing in the corner!!! I don't care what kind of music it is I want to be focused on God's word and what's being said I want to be aware of what's going on inside not being distracted, entertained and manipulated by music selection, everything is entertainment now to the point I literally think it's disrespectful to God's words and of demonic influence. I don't listen to or share anything with music over it. After I got saved the Holy Spirit gave me a few like red flag signals in my guts the first two were women in the pulpit and music over Gods word..... I have been doing studies with pastors online and half way through they or their younger assistants start putting music in it creeps in more and more like an infection until it's even over the prayer!!! Sorry it just does my head in. 🙏✝️

@@pruebarratt3085 Well, there is TRUE MUSIC THAT IS the REAL WORSHIP MUSIC, and then there is BETHEL and HILL-SONG that is WRONG Music. Even King David sang and danced. But I do agree, music should NOT be played OVER TOP someone whom is speaking. It drives me nuts. Especially if the music is too loud to properly HEAR what is being said.

He didn't talk about the blood of Christ, a vital part of the true gospel, "...through faith in His blood..."- Rom.3:25, Heb.9:22, Rev.5:9 What to believe to go to heaven !! : Realize you are a sinner being sorry. Sin is lying, evil thoughts, lust, etc.Therefore, do not trust in your own works to go to heaven because you realize, being a sinner, you cannot offer the perfect blood sacrifice that God requires to pay for sin. Instead, believe, meaning fully trust, that in Christ's love for you, on the cross, His one perfect blood sacrifice; when Christ bled, suffered and died, in your place, paid for your sins in full, past, present and future ! Believe that Jesus rose from the dead ! Believe Jesus is God Almighty, God the Son, alive for evermore ! You're absolutely right! Unfortunately, it is becoming more and more rare that the True Gospel is being preached in this day and age and as I was reading what you had to say, I was particularly reminded of 2 Timothy 4:3-4, where we're warned by the apostle Paul that the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but after their own lusts they will raise up for themselves teachers, having itching ears and they will turn their ears away from the Truth and will turn to fables.

I’m currently doing a study on the commandments of the New Testament and the sins of the New Testament. 1050 commandments are in the New Testament and 126 sins. Knowing this makes me realize just how wicked my heart is. I deserve weeping and gnashing of teeth for all eternity. We need Jesus more than we will ever know.

Just as our initial faith (justification) is from Him so is our growing walk (sanctification) from Him. My church background essentially denied both. As the pastor moved to the reformed view of justification, many of the church members/teaching staff didn’t as they heard what they wanted to hear. There came with this an intangible list of dos and don’ts that were not found in scripture and a “litmus test” of salvation. Add to this atmosphere a you-can-do-it view of sanctification, well you can guess what happened! Many young people who truly were His were so discouraged, they either quit out of frustration or looked for other churches (often false or weak ones). Eventually, the journey for most of us ended up in good Bible believing churches. How we wished someone had shared a better way with us like Priscilla and Acquilla did! Many of us have broken bodies, broken relationships with spouses & children, sadness for the life led, regret for the time lost that could have been in service to Him.. all from that period of rebellion and confusion. But wait.. there is also intense joy that what was wrong has been righted! We have a peace that even what Satan intended for evil, Jesus Christ and the Father used for good. We are not what we once were! None of us have “arrived”- anyone who believes they have are delusional. What we do see is an overall steady growth from those early days. We also recognize that there is human responsibility but in the end it is the working of God in spite of us and that frees us to share our faith with abandon without fear of doing it imperfectly to the detriment of the hearer. We look forward to the day when we are completed, made perfect and incorruptible, when He makes all things new.

Brethren Justin Peter...YOU are THE first pastor in my 92 yr life; that ever said things as YOU did! And I am a Born Again (many are NOT) Christian; since my mother had me "christened"; when I was just Born! And I have listened to untold Pastors; all over the world. And NOT one I have heard; that espoused Brethren, like Justin Peters. Praise Jesus' Holy Name for you. I will never forget YOU dear Pastor, ever! Thank you of what you said. Thank you Mr. Peters. I have to say that it greeves me to hear that I have to belong to a church. We really have tried so hard to belong, but we just don't. We have been trampled on so many times by our "fellow brothren", that we are just too broken to join a church. We do join a Biblestudygroup each sunday. But although we do miss being part of a church, I just can't anymore.

So good, presenting the full unfettered gospel will be watching this many times and plan to do this at local church, Justin and team at Living Waters taught me so much in last 12 months, modern church, in many cases has lost the biblical keys to evangelism (think that’s a Ray Comfort statement). @@me3709 he is coming at this from a Calvinist perspective. But even he would probably tell you to cry out to God. Ask him, beg him, beseech him to greet you those gifts. Read the book of Romans all the way through from covered to cover. It may be the most systematic presentation of the gospel in the Bible, or at least in the New Testament.

Yes but he is adding works to it so it's now a false gospel, the true gospel 1corinthians 15 1-4 without works added is the only way you will be saved, we don't repent of sins like he says, it's a work based salvation!

@JustinPetersMin What does taking Elohim's name in vain mean? It's way more than saying OMG or using a cuss word in it. One of the ways for taking his name in vain is removing, substituting, replacing, and destroying his name. Bringing his name to ruin is considered taking name in vain. The translators did this when they replaced Elohim's name with the title the lord. They replaced his name from the original more than 6,800 times. His name is close to Yahweh, but that's not accurate. A more correct way to say his name is YAHUAH ( YA-HOO-AH ). And the Messiah's name never was jesus, but we call him by a fake created name that first existed in the 17th century in kjv in the eighth edition. There is no letter J in the Hebrew alphabet.

It's very hard to find a Sound Bible Based Church these days...I was raised in a Baptist church as a child, but then I lost my way (After a Great Tragedy happened in my life) I went looking for God in other places, and I fell into the counterfeit *New Age Religion* trap, but *Jesus Christ* walked with me throughout it all, and I'm so GRATEFUL that He rescued me from it all! Looking back, In a way it was a "Blessing in disguise" , because now I can spot a FALSE PROPHET from a mile away, and I've got Scripture & the HOLY 🕊SPIRIT in me to help guide the way! So, I choose to listen to SERMONS from: *Dr. Voddie Baucham* *Paul Washer* and *John MacArthur* I follow along with them and I read my NKJV Bible as well! I found you Mr.Justin Peters via a (video like podcast) from a very famous Ex-New Ager that interviewed you! Thank you and I hope you have a very BLESSED year! 🤗

Hmm. Sins like: complaining to God about difficulty in life, sometimes questioning God like when David complained, sometimes failing to fully trust God and God's love for me because of too much heavy loads. But I always asked sorry and returned to worshiping and loving Him. The LORD Jesus Christ do so in my heart.
