I've started laying it in the feeder open so they can help themselves. I watch new babies each year come with mama, come again growing the next year. Always sad to see mama leave them the 2nd year. Sometimes the babies will come the next year and even bring their own babies. I've fallen in love, my best friends. Lol Beautiful creatures God made. All of them. More afraid of me than I them. Visited a brown bear research facility and six adults got to share small concrete pens where two were sitting in corners, three were going around and around in circles, and one was eating its own excrement. All were missing hair off their back ends from sitting on the concrete. Breaks my heart that institutions that claim to be equipped to handle these beasts in a healthy manner treat them as such, and people like this woman who actually do right by the animals typically have to fight tooth and nail to keep them.

One key thing, though, that tiger needs a friend in the cage- I'm sure she could get a rescue tiger from a sanctuary- the tiger would be so, so much happier with a friend there.

I agree, and also a more spacious pen with a bit of stimulation, looks a bit grim to me.

Mami Burger The two black bears are omnivores, so they are not limited to eating only meat. That should help a lot with her food budget.

@@inharmonywithearth9982 they are not yet extinct in the wild. Also they are getting extinct because there are more tigers in american backyards than the wild.
@winwincouldsteponmeidthank54255 жыл бұрын
@@devarshraval4692 They are not becoming extinct due to the pet trade, their main reason for population decline is habitat loss and poaching for their bones in Chinese medicine.
@devarshraval46925 жыл бұрын
@@winwincouldsteponmeidthank5425 guess how many pet tigers produce offspring or live a long and healthy life? plus they are of zero use to the ecosystem being locked up in the cages. Thus they are becoming extinct in the wild because they are locked up in cages. See the point?
@devarshraval46925 жыл бұрын
@I'm also relevant look at me you cannot believe that is true. Where do those pet tigers come from? Lab grown? Each of those pet tigers, 5000 of them are taken from the wild, where only 3200 are left. No pet tigers recreate more tigers. Do you see the point?

Most likely not. Black bears have wildly different diet specifications and can eat up to 15,000 to 20,000 calories a day, so feeding them a small bottle of honey is barely a snack for them. Plus, I'm sure they get a lot of exercise by running around and playing. :)
