Well, this melody made me suddenly start to plan a graveyard mega-dungeon style campaign where the dungeon "consumes" the town or village the PC's were in (pulling into a separate dimension kind of thing), and the PC's must find a way to escape or save everyone before the town runs out of supplies and/or the minions of the crypts kill everything... With each death in the town, a new grave appears from the fog, and the territory of the living shrinks ever smaller...

I really enjoyed the previous one and I'm really looking forward to more of these ambience tracks! That being said, the overly loud monster noises and "jump-scares" in this one would definitely detract from any narration or discussion happening at the table so I don't think this track is nearly as practical as the Enchanted Forest one. I hope others think otherwise because a lot of effort was no doubt put into making this, but there are moments in this track that would be far too distracting to play at my table.

Hey guys I know I'm late to the game, but what happened to the campaign diaries for the chains of acheron? I'm a few episodes from the end and I really like listening to the self analysis at the end of them

This is from memory, so forgive any errors. Essentially, Matt was stressed trying to run the game and try and complete a campaign diary at the same time. With editing, and trying to ensure the video had good signal to noise, it just became unfeasible to do weekly. At the time, if something warranted a video he would make one regarding the specific idea rather than a full diary so it was more to the point and ease of production. Think that about covers it. Edited: Clarified my last sentence.

10:54 too friggin' loud. For an ambiance soundtrack there's a lot of narrative specific noises. the growls, the children. i think they distract a bit too much from the game (especially if they're so loud). Ambience is supposed to stay in the background. But all-in-all, cool stuff.
