@@jcwdiggeryeah my friend and the worst is family members. Anyway great find happy for ya. Been looking for a treasure for last couple of years and I stopped looking for it. Because apparently the country where I am from the law says gov will take everything and I'll get nothing so I stopped even though I know how the place will look even after all these years, I'm talking about +30 gold bars all from 1kg to 8kg each .

Not to mention now I have to dig every target 40 or higher!

Cool find.So much burglary,I have found busted open safes,etc...Once I touched stupidly, and once home realized my prints were all over,so called the state police so I could not be mistook.lol.People may think you "Salted",but when you truly love the hobby, are happy as long as machine is on.I hit jackpot all the time and like you, found multi in one spot.Is so much out there to find.I learned to go in winter when brush is down, gain the virgin ground.Don't do the ballfield, but the little patch on sidehill driving down.lol..Other hunters want comfort.lol..Friend found a Frame of old womans change purse, material long rotted away(Liner remained).Inside seated everything and Gold pieces.lol..I have hit seated club, but no gold coins yet.lol..Glad you were able to video.I often am alone so wish while digging I recorded.Corn field next to hometowns ballpark, found a 1849 seated liberty half dime.About 8 inches down.Old buck who owns coin shop was right near me.lol..I took him on my jaunt, and he drove long way,was just saying to myself "Please lord, let Carl find something great."..lol..Sorry the long post, cheers!!!

I have just inherited a box of penny rolls that haven't seen the light of day since 1925-1959. There are many yet to be inventoried and catalogued-for there are are many that I need help with in order to show how favorable of a find I've made and that a choice nudge towards the Redbook as to see just how well preserved my initial thrust is..

18:08 That's a Danish coin! It's quite big so it might be a 2 øre coin but there should be a number on the other side 1, 2, 5 or 10. 1 øre is 6 cents and the coin a fairly common but not in use anymore as the lowest currency is 50 øre. But that's really weird for it to show up in Murrica

Franklin halves didn't start until 1948, so the cache must have been hidden in '48 or later, that's about 10 years after the depression ended. But it is a great cache of coins! Congratulations on such a terrific find. That's a once-in-a-lifetime find, good for you!

Congrats on the great finds! I went metal detecting just earlier today and found my first two silver items ever! I've only been doing it a few weeks, and I found about $4.50 in quarters (clad), 21 pennies (one wheat that I scratched with my shovel), $1.40 in dimes (clad), one men's silver nugget ring and a very thin silver child's bracelet. I just cant describe the awesome feeling of finding something other than aluminum cans, pull-tabs and beat up Lincoln memorials . By the way do you ever pan that creek for gold? Happy hunting!

the no namer is a british three pence. the United states coins are from the Philippines. the one with the large 5 you didn't show long enough. ..maybe german. but don't know Cuz you just skimmed over it. as you did with most the foreign coins. which are far more interesting than the rest. think I even seen an aussie half penny. this looks like an old coin collection. back in the old days poor kids collected whatever they could. most would collect stamps off the mail, or coins from change ect. they often saved them up to buy baseball cards. this seems like it is not as old as the coins suggest so I doubt it is from the 50s/60s. but probably the 80-90s. looks more like a kids coin collection they bought from a coin shop. hence the holed, broken, foreign and just knackered silver coins. probably buried it as a little stash treasure. and it washed off the bank. I buried little boxes like this as a kid with coins my dad would give me I thought were neat. and would pluck out the wheat CENTS (us never minted pennies btw) and any Indian or buffalo's I could find. trouble was I forgot were I would bury them.... I went back to that spot a few years ago to find my old stashes with my detectors and found 6 Spanish portrait and pillar dollar type silver 1 and 2 reales...go figure. was there when I was burying my stash as a kid. and long before that. their grades were XF. so they had circulated some. but was an awesome find. I've found a few old caches like this one you have and I can say that's typically what these are. Some kids coin collection treasure stash. pretty neat. the post hole caches I've seen were full of good coins. typically all within a decade time frame and always silver coins. At least here. They didn't bury cents. some nickels...but mostly dimes, quarters and halves and one had rotten cash. blue and light green seal notes. one had several 10$ gold pieces that were scattered from tilling. But that one I didn't find. a friend did about 35 minutes up the road on a farm. my best finds always come from farms near the rivers or where old fences are or were. And especially in the water. rivers or the ocean. ocean coins are typically so badly eaten up there is no chance at good graded coins. but still fun. My best find was an 8 Reale mexico mint 1715 fleet silver coin on Vero Beach. it looks like a thin black cookie. and took ages to clean up. that coin is special as it is from a Spanish shipwreck. I was all grins that day. and is what got me really into detecting. now that I am out west, I hunt gold. but when I go back home I'll be back after spanish silvers again. last visit home I went to east Longmeadow in MA and found several really good coins. pillar 1 reale, pillar half reale, lots of barber dimes, seated x4 and a couple colonials. I love this hobby. and I totally get how you felt in this video. congrats. check that bank! would bet there are more coins on the bank. especially near any old swimming hole.
