Yup, you would have to trick Slaanesh into having someone bring it out of the palace to use as a weapon. Although I hear the trickster god of the Eldar is still around. So that would be the plotline they would have to follow. Slaanesh would have to be tricked into having their champion armed with it for a duel with someone (bobby blue)? And then have that champion be ambushed and tag teamed by Bobby and maybe the rest of the Eldar wielding finger crew and maybe a cadre of Harlequins? Although you have to wonder, is it more Grim Dark to have them fail at it, or to always be on the cusp of victory but never being able to actually achieve it?

My theory is that the fifth sword is given to demon fulgrim. Fulgrim did give away the laer blade to Lucius, but apparently still wields a sword. And my hope is that eldrad and the harlequins will trick trazyn into releasing clonegrim, who will aid them in fighting and hopefully subduing demon fulgrim long enough for the eldars to take the cronesword from him. This will also provide eldrad and fulgrim to have a retake of their original meeting and not muck it up. But will gw do something that cool? Probably not...

Didn't the Ynnead lore flop? Because they didn't sell well, GW stopped writing. I'm not a huge Eldar fan (I luv me big tiddy Eldar GF), but I loved the Ynnari lore. Since the last Cronesword is in the Palace of Slaanesh, there's not way they can get in. The only way the Eldar can get the last Cronesword if they struck an alliance with some traitor marines. There's no other way to it. Characters like Zardu Layak, Ahriman can enter the Palace of Slaanesh. I can see a deal between the Eldar and Ahriman, Ahriman getting the cure for the Rubric in return giving the Eldar the last Cronesword to awaken Ynnead. This is the only way, the last time the Eldar went into the Warp, they turned into swamp trees, going into Slaanesh's palace would instantly turn them into sex toys.

The story flopped bc after killing a greater daemon of slaanesh or something, it revealed it “was only using 10 percent of its true power”… what in the dragon ball z does that even mean in 40K?!!? Just absolutely stupid. And so they would have to beat him again in slaanesh s palace at 10 times strength to get the last one. So yeah the boss foght had no meaning and kill the hype for another bc we all know gw doesn’t care about xenos, and since sales weren’t gonna be good bc there own story decisions they said f u to the eldar fans even more and cancelled the book. So yeah.

GW doesn't care about anything besides the Space Marines and Imperium. The Black Library has announced submissions for short stories, and they're ONLY for Space Marines successor chapters. Bruh WTF.

For some reason I find it strange that no other chaos deity has exploited the capacity for the bearers of the four other swords to lead an assault into the palace. Blah blah slaanesh is not capable of defending from an attack from the eldar and the other chaos gods. I'm banking that the other gods would help the eldar kill slaanesh if the plan they constructed was good enough to make that happen. Why wouldn't khorne and tzeentch see the benefits?

I love how 40K has all these fall backs in place just in case the decide to do an end times style of thing. They have all these story beats in place and ready just in case they ever need to pull the trigger and end the entire setting. It’s so cool to see these things just set and ready to be used as major plot elements if they’re needed.
