Beautiful scenery Paul... looking like there are a multitude of routes to the destination! They'll all be great I'm sure whichever one you take. Cheers.

Very helpful, I'm taking notes! Don't think the weather will be as nice when I do it next week.

Good luck and if the weather isn't to good at least it will keep the midges away. I'm happy to answer any more question that you may have.

@@PaulWillcocks Cheers, just a couple of things - is that Leiterfearn place directly on the route? In other words is it easy to find. Also where did you get that pouch thing you wear at your front? Looks handy.
@PaulWillcocks4 жыл бұрын
Yes it's easy to find. The toilets are next to a ruin that are on your left at about mile 26.5. The OMM Chest Pod was very handy, you can get it from Amazon geni.us/ODAAi

@@PaulWillcocks I'm there now. Long day from Fort William. Some guy is 'night fishing' but seems to involve having a rave in his tent. Too tired to go and tell him to turn it off, lol.

DON'T use the stream next to seat it runs behind compost toilets, Use waterfall on path facing (across from) toilets.

How many main meals did you take 🤔 or is it possible to get food along the way 🤔
@PaulWillcocks2 жыл бұрын
I can't remember but I think it was 3 main meals. There isn't many places to buy food along the way, I remember seeing a cafe at one of the lochs but it was close when I got there. At Fort Augustus there lots of cafes.

You should have taken the high route mate it's not that high and the view of the loch are spectacular! Have a look at my 3 minute video on the GGW if you want to see what I'm talking about if you want. 👍🍺😎

The camera makes your tent look huge inside, those flys were horrid. Hopefully they vanished into the evening!
@PaulWillcocks4 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't say my tent is huge but it is a proper 2 man tent so for 1 its quite spacious. In the morning the flies were replaced with midges.
