I’ve seen so many people shipping Komamiki/Tsumaeda, and honestly, I can never tell if they ship it because of before chap. 3 or because Mikan took care of him when he was ill.

first of all- a huge part of mikan’s character is that despite having medical knowledge, she doesn’t actually take care of her patients. she makes their condition worse before curing them so she can have more control (because of her trauma). in ch3, she most likely did the same to not just nagito but akane and ibuki too. in the manga from nagito’s POV, she was on top of him and it was implied she forced herself onto him because he was affected the most (lowered immune system), and not only was mikan consumed by despair, she would have had the most control over him. this would also be how nagito found out she reverted to ultimate despair but even outside of the implied SA, the two aren’t compatible in the slightest- they don’t care for eachother, and they’re both EXTREMELY mentally ill and would only worsen eachother’s problems. nagito would only reinforce her unhealthy desire for attention and validation with his ideals, and neither of them would develop as human beings is that a rody pfp, by the way? :)

I don't think Nagito is bi/pan. While yes, we do know that he respects everyone with an ultimate, and "loves" them. Love and respect are different from actual romantic feelings, I love and respect a lot of women (Parako included) but I've never genuinely felt bi/pan, I'm straight. Along with that, I want to bring up a scene from chapter 2. Mahiru comes back from trying to give Nagito food, when she sees Hajime. She asks him to do it for her because Nagito was being difficult. Hajime agreed and Nagito seemed...VERY HAPPY to see Hajime, or a boy in general. He said that he didn't feel comfy asking a girl to feed him. In my interpretation, that meant he wanted a boy to do it. (Surprise surprise). Plus, his interactions with girls feel extremely platonic. These are just a few of my reasons, so I'd LOVE to hear yours!!!! I'd also love to hear your thoughts on the other characters!

The closet was made of glass, he was zesty asf in Sdr2 but was somehow zestier in the despair arc and ofc ultra despair girls (although most Udg characters are). In my opinion it's pretty much canon that Nagito had feelings towards Hajime/ Izuru (the 'waltz like' scene where Izuru shot him, the whole of sdr2's chapter 1 and 2, the official art with the 'boyfriend cookies', love nest and his literal confession in the original version of Sdr2 before the English localisation, plus way more moments and official arts), but it's not canon that those feelings were reciprocated. (Although i do ship Komahina )
