I think they are bringing Abeloth, into canon as well as the Father, the Son, the Daughter into live ction. Why else would those statues have been there at the end? The Father was clearly pointing to something that had some kind of green force energy to it.

Abeloth just seems...too big of a threat to be put in here. I don't know, I never really liked Abeloth all that much and to be honest the Mortis Ones kind of muddy a lot of stuff, so I'm not entirely sure about how they will fit in, but I'm curious.

I almost agree with you. Abeloth is very esoteric and pretty far-fetched for a mainstream movie audience. However, snce Disney took over we have seen Force healing ,your mama jokes followed by bombs dropping out of a ship in zero gravity space, Leia as Superman, Lightspeed skipping, Hyperspace tracking (which somehow makes less sense than Leia as Superman), and "Somehow Palpatine has returned (despite the fact that we all saw him die back in 1983). I'm not necessarily opposed to doing Abeloth - it certainly makes more sense than "somehow palpatine has returned" - I just hope they're able to do it without completely botching it and somehow being even more stupid than TLJ & TROS.

Also even if Abeoth is a big reach, I will take anything - LITERALLY ANYTHING - over another Rey movie. I will take another Ewok Adventure, or an Ughnaut Adventure even. I WOULD TAKE ANOTHER HOLIDAY SPECIAL OVER ANOTHER REY MOVIE!!

DF likes bringing back Legends stuff. If this thing is not Abeloth it would be a spiritual successor to her. This thing will have a similar name like The Mother or Lady Chaos or something.

I could actually get on board with that. Abeloth is a bit too all-powerful in Legends that she would need to be powered down for her to fit into the current canon. Good call on "The Mother" name.

Ask yourself these questions and think of these theories: 1. Why is Peridea such a dead and lifeless world?, Such a bleak wasteland with few inhabitants?, It's almost as if "something" is feeding on the planet and the life there. 2. What causes the Purgil to die when they migrate there?, Why would they choose Peridea out of countless other planets? Is something drawing in, killing, and feeding on them too? 3. What caused the destruction of the Great Witch Kingdom of the Dathomiri?, and why would the Dathomiri suddenly migrate to a new planet (Dathomir) in an entirely different galaxy? We're they perhaps trying to get away from "whatever it was" that perhaps destroyed there kingdom?, causing them to flee as far as they could at the time because they were just that scared? Mind you these are NIGHTSISTERS we're talking about, it must be something POWERFUL and DEADLY to make them so desperate to flee. (Baylan: Perhaps they flee a power greater than their own). 4. How did the Dathomir Kingdom fall?, Could something of unfathomable power have attacked and destroyed the kingdom?....or....Could something have taken control of certain key member witches and "brought chaos" to the power-structure leading to conflict and destruction? 5. Why did the Great Mothers (and presumably others if their "cargo" are actually hibernation devises rather than coffins) remain on Peridea instead of fleeing with the others? Maybe they either wanted to stay behind to ensure that the bulk of the Dathomiri escaped, OR perhaps they had a hand in sealing whatever "power" that threatened them and stayed to make sure it couldn't escape, destroy them and then perhaps go after the others in the main galaxy. 6. Why were the Great Mothers in hibernation on Peridea? Could they perhaps have been waiting for someone else to come along and take them and the remaining Dathomiri to their new home?, OR.. perhaps they slept as a means of hiding themselves from whatever "greater power" they feared in case it escaped imprisonment. 7. Why were the Great Mothers so loyal and eager to help Thrawn?, After all, the Nightsisters are female dominant and see men as FAR beneath them, they would NEVER serve a man unless it served them first. Perhaps it DOES: When Thrawn showed up on Peridea, discovered and woke them up, the Great Mothers saw a chance to take the remaining Dathomiri and travel to Dathomir to reestablish the Great Witch Kingdom in the main galaxy. but ALSO..... the Great Mothers were desperate to escape Peridea because they knew the same evil power that they feared was still lurking and Thrawn was their ONLY chance to leave Peridea . OR WORSE....They saw the future and KNEW that something or someONE (Baylan Skoll) drawn by it's influence would foolishly go looking for that power and unwittingly unleash it. (Baylan: Something CALLS to me, can't you hear it?) No mistake, this was their LAST chance to FINALLY get the hell away from Peridea and this evil power that has plagued and threatened them for so long and if it means putting their fates and the fate of the entire Dathomiri race in Thrawn's hands then so be it. Conclusions: The Great Mothers and their "cargo" may have successfully escaped Peridea to the main galaxy and a new begining on Dathomir for the Nightsisters but the power they were escaping from STILL exists and their greatest fears may still be realized. Thrawn may an immediate threat to the Galaxy but if this power Baylan is searching for turns out to be what I think it is, then a new/old (from the old EU) and FAR more powerful evil could be unleashed soon and threaten the entire UNIVERSE. Something related to the Mortis Gods (Remember statues pointing to something almost as if in opposition), an evil being just as or MORE powerful than all 3 of them combined. Concerning that Thrawns ship and crew are looking badly damaged it seems to me, that this mysterious force is already unleashed. It's a shame that the other characters like Ezra don't tell us more about it, so we're left totally on our own. And that doesn't makes me curious for the next season.

I believe the majority of that damage is from the battle from Rebels and the purrgil dragging it through hyperspace.

Abeloth makes sense bcoz her story is the closest to the Mortis gods lore-wise + we saw Baylan Skoll standing on their gigantic statue/sculptures. Maybe Peridea was either their original home world OR that's where they imprisoned Abeloth the last time she tried to escape. Then they abandoned that planet & created the "dimension" thingymajig where we see them in #TheCloneWars. Or, we might all be over thinking & everyone gets disappointed ~ IF it's another green fart like Marrok... all the sane to outrageous fan theories about who he might be 😖😫🤦‍♂️🤦‍♀️ The reality is it can be anything we least expect it to be & Filoni will just surprise us all. Like who knew he'd actually pull off the live action flashbacks to #TheCloneWars & made Anakin look better than he did in the #ObiWanKenobi series. Or Ahsoka pulling an Ezra move & hitch a space ride to another galaxy in a purrgil. IF Filoni is brave enough to bring Abeloth into canon IN live action, then long time star wars fans will forever worship & praise him forever & ever amen 🤭😆😆 BUT he needs to get it done RIGHT & give the glory due for the badass Luke Skywalker book/comic fan readers have been waiting for since his last on-screen appearance. Many of us love Ahsoka, no doubt about it. But if Filoni bows to 💩woke/dei💩💩 steals Luke's possibly last triumphant on-screen action scenes & gives it to Ahsoka instead, then that might cause problems with the over protective fanbase. I don't even want to think of the backlash that'll for sure flood kathleen kennedy bcoz she'll get more of the hate before Filoni. So if it's Abeloth & they include Luke, give his character even just one last hurrah, then it might win us over & the audience will most likely love it 🤞🤞🤞
