The Great New York State Fair 2023

The Great New York State Fair is one of the top five state fairs to see in the country. We visited days 1 & 2 out the 13 day event. We recommend coming out more than once just to pace yourselves and enjoy it! The tickets are $6 per person this year and the parking was $10 a vehicle. There are option to avoid paying parking but keep in mind you will have to wait for transportation. The fair obviously had it typical fair foods such as funnel cakes and other fried foods but there is also CNY staple foods such as wine slushies, riggies, Tully's, and many more that you can only get at the New York State Fair. They usually have popular artist perform as well so check out the website to see who is performing!

Florida state fair is better but this one was pretty good. Ended up going 3 times with different people. I noticed a few of the more thrilling rides like the free bird, super cyclone, and drop tower were missing this year which was a bummer.

Make sure you eat before you go. Otherwise you'll be spending alot on a bunch B's food! Lol walk around n meet people n you'll be spending 35 dollars on a band bracelet you can ride all day for but the wait to get on one is a long time . No rides or no food is key. Everything else is kool

Food sucks at blooming onion because u have to wait in line n the servers cook it fast not to the customers satisfaction. But just to make a quick buck. No thank you to the food. ....truth
